Out of all the talented young musicians across the country, Rudeboy E has been ranked as one of the best in the nation! Rudeboy E’s prize includes support to keep recording. 25.01.2022 Lovely post from City of Palmerston showing of the gorgeous new mural painted by Larrakia artist Trent Lee when launching the new Palmerston Youth Centre (PYC) at the YMCA N.T - Palmerston Swimming & Fitness Centre! The pool is FREE for the rest of the year -- come down to check out the mural, have a swim one warm afternoon, use the gym, join a class or drop by the PYC if you're aged 10-17!

22.01.2022 THANK YOU PALMERSTON for coming out to enjoy the Palmerston Community Fun Day at the YMCA N.T - Palmerston Swimming & Fitness Centre over the weekend! Winter never looked so good! We can officially reveal the space next to the pool is now known as the PYC (Palmerston Youth Centre)! Now school's back, the PYC is open 3pm-10pm Mon-Fri, and 10am-10pm weekends. 20.01.2022 A group of our Back2School students have been doing a Cert I in Manufacturing (Welding) through the Youth Skills Centre for a couple of weeks now. We have had nothing but good reports about this group of young men, proving themselves and showing their welding talents. This course will run for the rest of the year and allow our students to continue learning entry level trade skills.

17.01.2022 NEW DRIVERS ON THE ROAD! Last week YMCA supported a group of young people to access the Drivesafe Program and get their learner’s license. These young people now have access to driving lesson vouchers to help them start driving and get their provisional license in the future.

16.01.2022 What a way to end the school term! To celebrate our Back2School students with the highest attendance, we spent the day Go Karting at Hidden Valley. Thanks for all of your hard work this term guys. You are all accomplishing great things and your efforts certainly don’t go unnoticed.

16.01.2022 THIS FRIDAY NIGHT Come up to Palmerston’s first Urban Jam event, Friday night from 6pm to 9pm. In and around the Rec Centre. There will be music, street art, 3x3 basketball and lots of other fun activities. The Y will be there with our bubble war suits!

13.01.2022 Another YMCA graduate! Please join us in congratulating our newest graduate of the Certificate I in Developing Independence, Cedric! Cedric was part of the first cohort of young people to do this certification in the Northern Territory. With hard work and persistence, Cedric has finished this certification and has moved on to further courses for his future.
