22.01.2022 Today is National #SorryDay On the 26th of May 1997, the landmark Bringing them Home report was tabled in federal parliament. Bringin...g them Home is the final report of the National Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children from Their Families. Today marks 23 years since the Bringing Them Home report and 22 years since the first National Sorry Day. We take this day to commemorate, mourn, reflect and reconcile on the painful history of the Stolen Generations and its ongoing impacts on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. In acknowledging this injustice, we also commit to action towards healing and an equitable future. #InThisTogether #NRW2020 See more
