Clinics are held at Springfield Central Library, Level 2 Study Room 1, cnr Main Street and Sirius Drive, Orion Springfield Central. The next clinic is Tuesday 3rd November 9:00 - 11:00am.... 21.01.2022 To celebrate Queensland Mental Health Week, we are excited to be partnering with Neami Health Service for a mental health activity at Orion Springfield Central this Thursday, outside Big W. The activity is a 170cm high 3D ‘Community Wellbeing Tree’, and community are invited to write a reflection on leaf about how they maintain their mental health and wellbeing. We are also giving away self-care packs with lots of goodies inside. The tree will be there all week too, looking forward to seeing you on Thursday.

A huge thanks to the business who donated us the tickets! We had a wonderful night celebrating the success of all businesses within Greater Springfield and reflecting on the rollercoaster of a year. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners. A particular congratulations to The Coffee Club Orion Springfield who won the award fo...r Outstandong Small Business. A small business with a huge , who gave so much support to us as we ran the Emergency Response Centre. From supplying meals, lunches for kids and supplies we thank you from the bottom of our heart. Here is to an incredible 2021 and to the wonderful and generous community that we live in.

16.01.2022 A huge shout out to Jessica and Abigail. These two amazing young girls cooked, decorate and sold cupcakes and cookies outside their house to their local community over the school holidays. They sold $65 worth of cakes and donated all the money to the YMCA Springfield Lakes community centre which we will use to help struggling families in the Greater Springfield Area. What an amazing job girls!!!!

12.01.2022 Have you heard about the YMCA Mini Job Fair that is happening at Springfield Central Community Centre on Tuesday 10th November from 11:30 - 3:00pm? The YMCA has partnered with Springfield Regional Jobs Committee to deliver this event. This is a great chance for those youth Year 11 and 12 and those older, who have finished school but are looking for work to come along and see what the region has to offer in terms of employment and study options. Each session has limited numb...ers due to COVID and are 30 minutes long, but just enough time to talk to the providers in the room.
