22.01.2022 Any business, organisation, organised group activity, etc., that has a COVID Plan has been issued with a unique QR code for scanning with the COVID Safe Check-In app. This includes Yoga At The Beach. You will need to have downloaded the mySA Gov app to be able to scan the QR code which will be on the whiteboard. If you don’t have the app or a mobile phone, there will be a check-in sheet for you to provide your contact details. These sheets are only for contact tracing, and will only be provided to SA Health if requested. No one else will have access to your details.

13.01.2022 We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year

13.01.2022 For our last session for 2020 18 people and their children joined us for yoga. The weather was a perfect sunny 21 degrees with a light sea breeze. As we we were practicing some twists and the happy baby pose on our backs, we watched skydivers fly over us to land on the beach. It was lot’s of fun and great to see everyone enjoying their yoga practice. A big thank you to everyone who attended this week and donated a total of $163.50. That brings the 2020 total to $560. And tha...nk you to Jodie for providing fruit for everyone to enjoy at the end of practice. It was great to see everyone chatting while they shared the fruit, with no one in a hurry to leave. We are now on a break for 2 weeks and will be back the 10th January 2021. I hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

04.01.2022 Life is one hell of a game! We are given an unknown amount of time and the limitless opportunities to explore how we want to use this time. 4 recommendations f...or how to play this game: 1. Self-inquiry - take some of your valuable time to figure out how you want to spend your time. Identify what makes you well up with joy and fulfillment. 2. Self-design - organize/arrange the important pieces of your life in such a way that you are using your time to do what makes you happy and fulfilled. 3. Discipline creates freedom - Maybe we can’t always be doing that thing or things that gives us the most joy but planning and execution so that we may maximize our days can become part of that expression of joy. 4. We live in a disposable world. The problem is that our health is not disposable. You get one vehicle and one computer. You can’t trade them in if they break down. Taking care of your vehicle and your computer will likely lead to more time and more energy to pursue what gives you joy and fulfillment! Hoping you’re all having a wonderful day, Justin Photo by @paulchambers1970

03.01.2022 Yoga at the beach this week was with dragonfly’s gently flying around us, the conditions were warm and cloudy. Our regulars and some returning yogis from last year practiced a slow yoga flow with an emphasis on breathing and hip stretching. Today members donated $125.15 for a total for this season of $397 or 20% of our target. Thank you to everyone for today and each week for joining us, next Sunday 20 Dec is the last for 2020, we are back Sunday 10 Jan 2021

01.01.2022 Hi everyone little bit late posting from last Sunday, and yes we practiced yoga in the wind and rain for the first half of class followed by warm welcome sun. Have you ever tried doing tree pose in a strong wind the kind of wind that bends trees? Those who attended donated $48.85 total for this season of $272 or 13% of our target, only 2 Sunday’s left for this year, then a small break and back in January 21.

01.01.2022 Just a reminder for everyone who will be attending classes from tomorrow - please make sure you maintain the required 1.5 metre social distancing. You will see markings on the driveway to assist with this when arriving and leaving. Also, during this time while social distancing is in place, please do not stop in the driveway, or out the front, to socialise. For more information of what we are doing to help keep you and the teachers safe, please read our latest newsletter. We look forward to welcoming you all back over the coming weeks.
