22.01.2022 Today's peaceful practice under the trees. Trees and Yoga has an old relationship. Originally and until just 20 years back, people used to practice Yoga only in outdoors,I had started myself a regular practice in an open courtyard of a little ashram in my hometown.... Student's certainly acknowledge the difference they feel in outdoor practice but unfortunately due to weather it's not always possible. It's my favorite too. #yogapractice #yogaeverydayandeverywhere #yogaforeveryone

12.01.2022 Om Hanumate Namah Tuesday - is a day dedicated to Lord Hanuman ... He is an epitome of devotion, courage and strength. He is a great celebate Yogi with great powers. Symbolically, Lord Hanuman represents the highly evolved prana or life consciousness. He is compassionate, simple, and yet he is courageous and powerful. Hanuman Chalisa is the most common prayer that is used to revere and take the blessings of Lord Hanuman. Commonly devotees of Lord Hanuman fast on Tuesdays and offer prasadam (food) in temples and distribute it to poor people. Bhakti (devotional )Yogis Meditate on Lord Hanuman to cultivate emotion of love, empathy and complete surrender. Please No Monkey God ,It's not the right phrase to use for Lord Hanuman. May Lord Hanuman give us strength, wisdom and guidance to cross this Bhav Sagar (material world) while performing our duties perfectly. Namaskar

10.01.2022 Patanjali Yoga Sutra -1 atha yoga-anusanam 1 atha = (conj.) NOW... yoga =yoga, unity, oneness, harmony with yourself anusanam= discipline, Now the discipline of Yoga Begins. Sage Patanjali, the codifier of Yogic sciences mentioned Yoga as discipline. It's a way of life not mearly a fitness program to follow once in a week. I always encourage my students to establish their regular home practice so that they can create a good foundation of their Yoga discipline. Duration does not matter, consistency is important. Feel free to speak to me tomorrow about your home practice routine before or after the class at 11am at Glenunga Hub. Namaskar

10.01.2022 **A humble request ** From Yoga mats to bathroom mats, beer bottles, shoes ,you name it and you can find Hindu symbols,God & Goddess everywhere. It is my humble request to please don't buy such stuffs these symbols are sacred for us and seeing them used in such a way is heart breaking.(especially when people step up on these symbols in Yoga classes in front of my eyes).... Yes,they are pretty, colourful and look cool but there is an appropriate way to use them. We have been requesting companies not to sell them but it seems useless as what matters for them is their business. That's why I am reaching to you now,if you won't buy, then their won't be any manufacturing of it. I know you can argue that these are just the pictures but for us they have meaning,a living culture and we have high respect for them. It's simply cultural appropriation,no blame game. Please share and spread the word ! Please help

02.01.2022 Until Reality is found, we keep moving through the maze, or back to this platform of worldly life...We take a set of courses in one lifetime, and return in anot...her life for more courses, again and again until we finish the self-imposed assignments we refer to as karma. Death is simply the end of a semester, or the comma in a long sentence. Karma might be viewed as a burden, but another way is to see karma as a natural guide, instructive, and inevitable. ~SWAMI RAMA Sacred Journey [pg 58]
