21.01.2022 The practice of yoga incorporates the way we live our lives, from how we move our bodies, how we treat our bodies and others around us.To also what we put into our bodies - particularly our food choices. Having a teen is very challenging when it comes to food, also adding the twist of additional needs makes it very challenging at times. It’s a nice surprise to find this action happening in my kitchen

05.01.2022 :: MAKING MISTAKES :: The path towards collective liberation and social justice means unpacking and healing our history, our social conditioning, and our person...al wounds. It means unlearning all we’ve been taught, and learning new ways of seeing, being and doing. This means making mistakes. Saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing, thinking the wrong thing, feeling the wrong thing... When you make your mistakes, may you remember these key things: 1. You are not your mistakes. 2. Mistakes are a necessary and valuable part of the learning process. 3. Good apologies, forgiveness and compassion go a long way. 4. We need to create spaces and cultures that allow and support us to make mistakes. Otherwise we can become to afraid to grow, heal and genuinely connect. Safety begets bravery.
