24.01.2022 Hey friends, What are you doing Sunday afternoon? Want to celebrate mum with a little movement accompanied by a glass of wine in hand? Or perhaps as a celebrated mama you just want an hour to yourself?... Join me at Lentedal Vineyard Estate and together we will explore balance xx

24.01.2022 Slow, deep breaths, Soft, orange bolsters, Long, held stretches, And a comfortable seat.... We do too much. Most of us anyway. And even if we don't do enough, we still don't do enough of what serves us best. Whether we have a fast paced home life or a high pressure job or maybe neither....we live in a society that is stressed out. We overwhelm our gut AND mind with stimulants - hello caffeine and social media //netflix Our energy is directed everywhere (anywhere but here) when really, what we need most is to concentrate our attention inward. Energy flows where attention goes.... So I invite you to join me on Wednesday evening at Premalaya. Come down to the beautiful new studio on Wildwood Road for a 530pm start. We will practice yoga in a restorative style. Relaxed, slow and nourishing. There will be plenty of guidance to deepen your breath and open up the accessory muscles of breathing in order to physically expand your lung capacity and thus stretch the breath. We will gently mobilise joints to help increase blood flow and circulation into areas that feel stuck or damaged, and thus enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself and remove unwanted waste (including tissue damage). We will utilise props to support the body and ensure whole body (and mind) comfort. And we will finish in a seated position that is comfortable and challenging for the muscles that support a long, relaxed spine whilst praticing Pranayama to encourage Pratyahara (sensory withdrawal) and thus lead us to a meditative state. A little love for all your cells. All you need to do is show up

20.01.2022 For those who may not be aware, I have been unwell and unable to make it to Gracetown, let alone teach all my classes. It has been super unfortunate, BUT I am feeling MUCH better and am looking forward to seeing you on the mat soon. I have added in 4 more dates (2 Wednesday and 2 Friday sessions) to make up for the ones I have had to cancel and for those that are on enrolment, to ensure you get your full value as promised. These take us right through the school holidays, so w...e will follow this up with enrolment for term 3 and thus carry on without skipping a bendy beat. I owe you ONE more class, as I believe I missed 3 Wednesdays so please let me know if you would like one on a Monday morning at 7am. I am thinking either last Monday of school term - June 25th OR the second week of the school holidays aka July 9th. Let me know your thoughts and I will lock it in Eddie! Lots of love, Ashlee x

18.01.2022 Yoga mat for sale

18.01.2022 Have you been to mums n toddlers yoga? Friday's 9am at Gracetown Hall. It is a hoot!

17.01.2022 Yesssssssss! This is the world I want to be a part of. These are the systems that need to be penetrated by the incredible benefits of yoga. I taught gymnastics as my after school job ... I did my kids teacher training in 2012 And if you know me, you know I love to wiggle and shake and feel into my body and emotions much the same way our smaller generation do If you know a teacher or a principle or if you yourself are on a school committee and keen to get some yoga into schools, let's chat. I am SO keen to share my knowledge of years of self study, freedom of mindful movement, playfulness, and practicing the art of stillness and observation. I know everyone can benefit from a little mindfulness, but children can use these tools throughout school to help reduce stress and the effects of bullying as well as perhaps the desire TO bully. We all know that we need to be the change we wish to see in this world. And once we have experienced yoga we realise we should have 'done this years ago'. So let's teach these littlies NOW.

15.01.2022 Hey Mamas - Yoga tomorrow with your little one. 10am at Premalaya. Other options to get through humpday with ease: 7am at Gracetown Hall ... 5:30pm at Premalaya (Yoga for Blokes and chicks welcome too!) See you on the mat, Ashlee Blonde Spencer

14.01.2022 Happy humpday! How about Summer? Bit of blink and you'll miss it eh? Just a friendly PSA that I am offering #KaHuna massage from home!... Message me for details, call me to chat and do either of the aforementioned to book. Appointments are limited as my life is jam packed and I am aiming to actually FINISH all the books that I start this year haha but I will do my best to fit you in - my schedule is about as flexible as my thoracic spine....both need a little more freedom I also offer KaHuna for #PREGNANCY , Polynesian floor massage and AromaTouch! Or we can smoosh everything together and you have really fill up your love tank Like yoga, KaHuna has principles and is infused with love. It is a healing modality that helps to unravel stuck stuff (like emotions, trauma, tension etc) in the body and thus allow us to reconnect to our flow and therefore be in flow with life. As we know, life has its ups and downs and mostly they are a surprise... So how do YOU cope? How do you RESPOND? Do you have a practice that gives you an anchor? An opportunity to reconnect to your innate wisdom? Everything we need is within us. If only we can learn to shoosh up the noise that does not serve our highest self, we can tune into the voice that is there to guide and support the growth of our best self. Namaste and Aloha!

07.01.2022 Hey mama Just a gentle reminder that how you do mamahood is totally acceptable. You do you. Your babe will respect you for being authentic....and hopefully he or she will grow up to learn to live authentically also.... If you would like to join us for some #yoga, there is room in the Friday session at 9am in #Gracetown. Bring your babe and some dry snacks for him or her. I'd love to invite you into it Enjoy your weekend and be gentle with yourself. Sometimes the only option is not necessarily representative of your highest self, but it's the only option! And it might mean you JUST keep your sanity in tact xx

01.01.2022 A book written by my beautiful friend and fellow teacher. Ana Davis taught me pre + postnatal yoga many many moons ago, and I am forever grateful for the impact it has had on my own sadhana. Her knowledge around women's health is full of compassion and power. I am going to order a copy for myself, if you would like me to order you one aswell, please PM me and we can share postage costs. I believe this information will be invaluable for us as women. So many chemical changes on a daily basis....no wonder life is often tricky to navigate.
