After watching a talk today on the story of Ganesha, (2 times by @tylandrumyoga), I got a great insight that pulled me back away from my ego. . . . We can have a passion, there is natural passion and desire to go deeper, get stronger, and experiencing ourselves in a new way... Without the obsession of where it brings us. 18.01.2022 As we come to the end of Movember (Men's Health Awareness Month), we'd like to salute the boys at Bowen Physio! . . . I have missed a few but you know who you a...re, you guys are killing it. . . . Thanks for showing up, staying consistent, and putting in the effort for yourselves. . . . Its not always easy to try something out, especially something with a sitgma attached to it. But once you know, you know. . . . If you're curious about a Yoga Class at Bowen Physio, you've got nothing to loose and everything to gain. Just ask one of these guys!
17.01.2022 The only way to freedom is to get out of our own way... . . . If the last few months have taught me anything it's that once we free ourselves from ourselves, we can finally live.... . . . Only you know your destructive patterns, habits, people, and behaviours that don't serve you. Separate yourself from your conditioning; (you are not your parents, your car, your job). . . . Can you STOP ignoring the things you are doing that are not good for you? Can you start dealing with them, and eradicate them? All of them, yes ALL OF THEM. . . . There are no quick fixes, no magic diet or pill, you have to deal with your shit the hard way, for harmony that goes the distance, the real way only you know how. . . . Even the hamster wheel of "healthy habits"... Do ONLY what you know is good for you, for the long haul. For a full and vibrant life. . . . Then we start to live life in full force, no screw ups, no regrets, full experiences, fully present... then we are free. . . . We only only get one shot at this guys. There are no 2nd chances. . . . 16.01.2022 Hey guys, We are super excited to remind you YOGA IS BACK ON from tomorrow, Tuesday September 29th! It’s good to have a break, sure, but even better to get back... on your mat into a consistent practice. Here are some reminders to help you along the way: 1. Go easy, slow and steady wins the race. Lets not go too hard and end up with an injury, its not worth it. 2. Make an intention or keep a commitment to practice: do this by writing it down or telling a friend... Better yet, bring a friend! 3. Forget the comparison game, both to your old self and to others in the room. 4. Be prepared. Wash your yoga clothes, put them with your mat in the car or by the door. 5. Show up! Just getting there onto your mat on time is an achievement in itself. 13.01.2022 Men’s Health Promotion at Bowen Physiotherapy!!! At BP, we care about everyone’s health. This month the focus is on you men. The Movember Foundation, establishe...d in 2004, has renamed this month in order to bring awareness to Men’s Health of all ages. They encourage men to grow moustaches to spark the conversation about men’s health, raise funds for prostate and testicular cancer research, and mental health problems. Wether you decide to raise funds or not, growing a moustache is a chance to bring awareness to the sometimes taboo topic of Men’s Health, and how important it is to show support to those struggling. At BP, we are proud to have a growing number of men as yogi regulars. This month we encourage you to grow a moustache, and will award those with a killer Mo with some free Class Passes as a sign of gratitude for doing your part. Also, any of you who decide to bring a gentleman to class this month will receive a free Class Pass for yourself. See you on the mat!

10.01.2022 I want to acknowledge all you Bowen Physiotherapy Yogis for your hard work this last month. I see you revisiting classes, and working hard on your mat. Both mo...vement in Vinyasa and stillness in Yin takes courage and strength of all kinds. I feel privileged to watch this unfold before my eyes. I also want to thank you for both trusting me to guide you in your practice, and continuing to give yourself the time on your mat. Next month we will dive into new oceans of our practice, as you all now know, the pose is not the goal Showing up is the goal, and the gifts are all that you learn on the journey. Just keep swimming! 09.01.2022 Hi Bowen, As you may know we have many classes on offer here at BP. After you’ve had a go at Intro or Gentle Flow, you can increase your intensity level if ...you want just by choosing a Vinyasa Slow or a Power class. If you love the slow pace, like so many others we have seen over the last year, why not give Yin Yoga a try? Here we move through some deeper stretches for flexibility, joint health, and piece of mind. Once you have a Class Pass, you may swap and change classes depending on how you are feeling. We all know life is a series of peaks and troughs, so we encourage you to practice the style of yoga you NEED week to week. One size does not fit all, but all intensities of movement are beneficial to every human. 02.01.2022 CLASS CHANGE INFO!!!!! Hi guys, in an effort to serve our BP Yogis better, we have decided to make a class change. Intro ...to Yoga class on Thursdays at 515pm will now be known as Gentle Flow. This is good news for all levels. The Gentle Flow class is both suitable for new Yogis As well as anyone coming back to movement from a break. This is also good news for those more experienced Yogis, (or athletes), wishing for a full body class focusing on movement and stretching though the muscles and joints. All students can look forward to an increase in flexibility and mobility, at a Gentle pace. We already do most things pretty fast in our Go-Go life styles, slowing down is healing, we know this Easier said than done right?! Come into Gentle Flow and let us help you slow down, stretch, and find some space in your body.
