23.01.2022 No class tomorrow evening, I’ll be on camp wrangling kids. See you next week.

22.01.2022 Clifton Beach Surf Club is opening up for term 4, this means we can resume our yoga classes. I'll be teaching on Wednesday evenings for term 4. Same time 6.30-8.00pm. We'll start up on the 14th of October. Hope to see you sometime. More details to come...

21.01.2022 It’s chilly outside and a perfect night for a winter, warming yoga practice. It’s easy to snuggle up at home on a night like this and skip your practice, but winter is the time to commit to movement, to breathing well, reenergising and strengthening your immune system. We’ll move through processes that improve your circulation and digestive fire, open up and promote a greater flow of your pranic energy and build resistance to bugs and flus that do the rounds this time of year. Bring your warm gear and come flow with me tonight at Clifton Surf Club. 6:30-8:00pm.

20.01.2022 This is so beautiful and exactly how I feel about our lives at the moment. I know some of you are struggling, I know some of you are thriving, I know some of you are working very hard, I know some of you are not working, I know you're juggling family and/or loneliness. I know that we are all rising and falling, daily, in these unfamiliar times. I haven't posted much, I've been contemplating deeply. I Don't want to add to the white noise. I have been rising and falling myself, on every level. Walks are sustaining me, as is focusing on the present and the tragedies and triumphs of each moment. I'm looking for authentic and raw, honest wisdom at this time. Not fluff, self help, positive vibes or well meaning babble. This reminded me of all the grandmothers who've walked this unknown path before us and lit the way.

18.01.2022 Yoga starting up again tomorrow night. Bring your own mat and blankets. I can lend you a mat if you don't have one. New covid guidelines will be followed so please let me know if you can make it. Can't wait to see you all again.

16.01.2022 Tonight we delve into ‘Suffering’ as we continue our exploration of Judith Lasaters book, Living your Yoga. She states that, Physical, emotional and mental pain are inevitable in life. Suffering is another matter. Suffering is the personalisation we bring to our difficulties. Plenty to ponder right there. Looking forward to seeing you soon, 6.30 -8.00 at Clifton Surf Club.

15.01.2022 This is fascinating, considering the work we did last week to release our fascia through the use of balls on our feet! I’ve done some work in this area with Donna Farhi to align the neck, mouth and jaw for improved core stability. This makes perfect sense as another piece of the postural puzzle. Time for some further exploration!

11.01.2022 I’m back at Yoga from the Heart this coming Saturday morning. We had so much fun last session, come along to laugh, breathe, strengthen, reconnect and reenergise. Bookings through their website.

10.01.2022 Yoga at Clifton Beach Surf Club starting up again this week. Pass it on... Looking forward to practicing with you all. Please bring your own mat and blankets. I will have mats to lend if you don't have one, but will be following new covid guidelines. Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.00 this term. Let me know if you can make it...

06.01.2022 I've decided not to resume regular yoga classes at Clifton just yet. I'm keen to start up again in 4th term. I'm heeding an inner call to continue drawing close, keeping external obligations to a minimum and not over extending myself. I've been practicing the yoga of service - Karma Yoga - intensely this year and along with the Covid situation it's been all consuming. I'll offer some Pop-up sessions so look out for those. I look forward to sharing a practice with you again sometime and hope you're navigating your own world with a light heart and touch.

06.01.2022 3 more classes of this term before we take a break. I won’t be teaching next term at Clifton but will be doing some Saturday sessions at Yoga from the Heart in Molle st, Hobart. Tonight we ponder ‘Service’. There is an aspect of yoga that requires us to be in and of service to our communities. Karma Yoga. In what ways are you of service to those around you?
