24.01.2022 Namaste It’s been a week of side & backward bends on the mat this week shaking off the last week of winter as we move into spring Virabhadrasana - peaceful warrior pose tones & strengthens the core muscles, improves balance, opens up the chest & increases self esteem & perseverance.... No Friday class at Glenecho Community Centre tomorrow 28th. I’m having a short break & will be back on the mat Tues 1st Sept for evening 6pm zoom class. 23.01.2022 Meet Jax isn’t he just adorable Today was his first yoga class via Zoom and he just loved it especially the relaxation at the end. His owner & new human mum Pam has been doing yoga for many years and is fully aware of the amazing benefits of a deep 4 stage relaxation.... It’s so beneficial to consciously relax for at least 20 minutes everyday & the good news is you can clear the effects of hours of stress with only 10 - 20 minutes of deep relaxation. A regular yoga practice helps to shake off the sluggishness of winter with postures to detox the physical body & mind. Ayurvedic herbs, tea blends & food can also assist in the release of built up heaviness (Kapha) in the body’s system. 21.01.2022 I was super excited to see beautiful Zoe back at outdoor yoga class today she is so full of life Zoe is a guide dog for one of our regular visually impaired participants and loves big cuddles when she is off the harness & ‘not working’... her owner was enjoying a beautiful relaxation on the lawn. ... Free yoga every Tuesday 9.30am QE2 Square Albury ‘summer place’ under the shade cloth. You need to register with QI code on arrival so bring your phone. Yoga for everyone

Today I have made Ginger Chutney that I take before each meal to help keep my digestive fire strong and reduce the build up of AMA that can accumulate in the channels & tissues of the body causing many symptoms such ...as ; > Feeling of heaviness > Fatigue > Indigestion > Bloating, gas, flatulence > Irregular or impaired appetite> clogging of the channels eg, sinus congestion, lymph congestion, constipation > stiff joints > generalised aches & pains.
