21.01.2022 Gratefulness- good for our bodies, our minds and our relationships. It’s an affirmation of goodness and recognising the source of this goodness. Take sometime being grateful everyday
20.01.2022 Sunrise in spring. What a magical time to practice
20.01.2022 Padma-Kamala-Lotus. Here is my new logo with help from my lovely friends- @shabnambhojwani and @paramita.singh. This is my gift to you- The lotus that is a cherished symbol of purity, enlightenment, rebirth and triumph over obstacles. With its roots deep in mud, it blooms through the murky waters. You too can bloom like the Padma no matter where you come from or what you’ve gone through- beautiful and whole. Feeling grateful for the wonderful people in my life
20.01.2022 It’s the last 4 weeks of yoga and self care. It’s time to say goodbye to 2020(finally). Make the most of these next few weeks so you are better prepared for the craziness of Christmas and summer. Every week learn something new something fun. Please bring along a yoga strap/belt for classes this week. If you don’t have one, you can even use a belt, an old tie, a long scarf or thin towel. We shall have some fun with our hamstrings, hip joint and shoulder joint. See you soon on your mats

19.01.2022 Being okay if it happens and okay if it doesn’t happen is a very powerful place to be
17.01.2022 Look at yoga as self care- physical, mental and emotional. Let it be your time to get in touch with yourself to find balance, grounding, peace and love. We know we need this now more than ever. Online classes continue. Many classes to choose from. Get in touch for details.

17.01.2022 Hi everyone, I did an interview with Dr. Bhawna Gautam about my journey with yoga and meditation and it’s airing tonight on A1 TV- https://www.facebook.com/A1TVAustralia/
16.01.2022 Read that twice
16.01.2022 Spending some precious time on my new mat- my new home- Liforme mat. Honestly, I had never heard of this brand of mats before and so I looked at it very sceptically when I received it as a gift. But after spending some time with it, here’s what I feel It is an excellent non slip mat and has a great grip even with wet hands Knees and hands feel loved - good cushioning No weird smells from the rubber as it’s all recycled and eco friendly ... Wonderful alignment lines if you like to check and are a ‘yoga nerd’ Too expensive Too heavy So no wonder we’ve named it the Rolls-Royce of yoga mats- a bit unnecessary but who doesn’t enjoy some luxury See more
15.01.2022 Adhomukhasvanasana. Can be so powerful yet restful. A whole lot happening here-back body stretch, upper body strengthening, a forward fold, an inversion, looking at things from a different perspective, turning inward, connecting and balancing upper and lower body being symbolic of balance between universal principles as feminine and masculine, hot and cold and sun and moon and so on. Sure to bring some laughter in class each time You can try a few variations as well.
14.01.2022 Gorgeous spring day calls for some refreshing dreamy blue smoothie in a bowl

10.01.2022 "When the student is ready the teacher appears. When the student is truly ready the teacher disappears." - Lao Tzu Celebrating 10 years of teaching yoga with this beautiful quote. Though I started teaching yoga after my training 10 years ago, will always remain a student first. Teachers come in many forms- as children, students, friends, random strangers, circumstances.... just life in general. Some come and go... others just remain. What you learn from them is upto you. Grateful for every person that has touched my heart in a loving way
10.01.2022 Let the flame of our lamps illuminate our innerself- inner self of awareness, knowledge, compassion and joy. Let it shine bright and steady and bring eternal health and happiness. Happy Diwali
08.01.2022 Look who creeped in from my neighbours backyard.... these winter flowers... so joyful
04.01.2022 This week in our yoga practice, we slow down, we observe and honour what slower breath and movements and stillness brings for us
03.01.2022 This week, I decided to do something different - I started the yoga sessions with Savasana. Our youngest yogi, all of four years old was very curious about the reason during our post-yoga chat ( yes, we do that too). She also referred to a series of quick poses as ‘mashup yoga’! I found it very interesting and was informed that a mashup refers to 2-3 things sandwiched together (like a mashup of songs!) The things four year olds know, and you don’t!
02.01.2022 Let Christmas be a time to pause and reflect with a grateful heart It has been a year like no other. And through it all we came together by staying apart. Thanks to each one of you who came on their mats every single week and stayed for a chat after, who called or texted to check on us, those wonderful friends and neighbours who shared yummy food and desserts with us, and most of all my family who showed patience and love, making this year a little less unpleasant. Our celebrations may look different this year but the spirit of Christmas will always be in our hearts. Let’s make 2021 bigger and brighter with more love, compassion, kindness and gratitude
01.01.2022 Reflecting on the spiritual meaning of this wonderful festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganesha symbolises attributes within us like strength, wisdom, focus, concentration, knowledge, generosity and total acceptance. He is a unifier bringing people of all kinds together through this festival. We experience the omnipresent in the form of the Elephant god and yet be fully aware that Ganesha is very much within us. This is the wisdom we carry as we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi
