17.01.2022 Stretch Therapy Classes Thursday evenings at 6pm Sunday afternoons at 4pm... Stretch Therapy is an extremely safe and effective way to experience tangible changes in your flexibility. Sue is an experienced Stretch Therapy teacher and has trained under Kit Laughlin. The theme this week is Hip Flexors. Why stretch our hip flexors? Tight hip flexors are often associated with lower back pain and are often why people with back problems struggle to lie face-up with their legs outstretched without feeling discomfort. If you spend significant portions of your day either sitting at a desk working at a computer, driving, or simply 'static' then this is the class for you. Loosening your hips will also improve your back bends and save your lower back (which is likely doing the heavy lifting in your back-bends). Whatever the reason, if you have tight hips there's a variation accessible and available to you. Don't let tight hips hold you back, come along and learn how to effectively stretch and loosen your hip flexors. Beginners are always welcome. Namaste Sue
