22.01.2022 Starting this Wednesday. I have been missing my regular classes with students. I used to teach on a Wednesday morning, so I thought I'd start this regular gathering here on my yoga page. Each Wednesday at 9.30 I will be here Live on Facebook, sharing some yoga wisdom for these times. ... 18.01.2022 There are many way to invoke the goddess in our yoga practice, including asana and movement practices as well as various forms of meditation. Mantra is one form of meditation. Sanskrit is a devotional language, and when we recite the name of the goddess we can call in her cosmic worldly wisdom.

08.01.2022 I am sure I don't need to remind you all that we are living in extraordinary and uncertain times! Many of us are experiencing ongoing stressors, and so finding ways to reduce stress can be a daily practice. Over the coming weeks I will be sharing with you a series of short practices that I have found to be effective for me and my students to reduce stress. ... Here is a simple Shaking Practice for releasing pent up emotions from the body... and it can be lots of fun too! If you feel self conscious when doing it, think of animals in the wild. After they experience a stressful event they innately shake to release and move on. So next time you encounter a stressful event, or feel a lot of tension in your body, try this simple practice and see how you feel afterwards. Let me know how you find it.
