12.01.2022 Pránáyáma Prána means bioenergy; Ayáma, expansion. Pránáyámas are the techniques that through breathing intensify or expand Prána in our organism. Prána is the generic name that in yoga represents any type of energy manifested biologically. At first, prána is the energy of solar origin, but it can also manifests itself after being metabolised and absorbed by the air, water or nutritious food.... Prána is visible. On a sunny day, perform pránáyáma and fix your eyes on the Skye. Wait and as soon as the vision apparatus settles in you will be able to see myriads of tiny dynamic bright spots that shine describing various circular and sinuous movements. When doing breathing techniques, mentalize that you are absorbing this image of energy. Want to know more about the breathing techniques of the Ancient Yga? Don’t miss out next Just Breathe workshop and discover the importance of your breathing in your life. 30/8 - 9.30am - enrolments through link in the bio Text extracted from the book Tratado de Yga DeRose Photo by @lucasoulto In the photo @shelley_cleary

12.01.2022 Dháraná The ability to focus you attention in one point only is called Dháraná. To sustain your attention in only one point allows you to focus and concentrate which is extremely important for your Yga practice.... During each technique of your practice maintain your attention in the moment, leaving the distractions and judgments behind as they are responsible for taking your focus away. Be mindful of your breathing, your transitions and the feelings you get in your Ásana to hold it in a comfortable and stable way. With time and discipline in the practice, you will learn how to develop a focused and serene mind. #focus #dharana #concentration #awareness #beherenow #yoga

10.01.2022 Mudrá Workshop - 22/11 -2.30pm - You are invited for a workshop that explores mudrás - the gestural language of Yôga. But what is mudrá?... By @professorderose Mudrá A gesture of affection, a gesture of pacification, a gesture of tolerance. A gesture that is felt, a gesture that is profound, a gesture of blessing. Hands that strole, hands that accomplish, hands that hold the hands of companions, as if to say to each one: you can count on my friendship, I am your friend. Whichever it may be, the gesture of Yôga, transmits the force and love that blooms from the depth of your soul and ruptures from ones own hands ... This is mudrá! Enrolments open and limited spots available.
