25.01.2022 "Full Moon in Cancer, 30th December 2020 at 8 degrees. The Moon Goddess of Love. The Full Moon in Cancer is the great cosmic mother, the goddess of unconditional love, she is a cosmic gift to help us replenish our hearts with love and to help heal our mind, body and soul. Leaving behind any heaviness as we step into a New Year and a new and lighter Era. The Full Moon is extremely potent in her own sign of Cancer, which allows an openhearted free flow of love and emotion.... A Full Moon is a time of culmination, healing and release and for the first time in three years, the Moon in Cancer is free from the constraints of Saturn in the opposing sign of Capricorn, allowing her to radiate her cosmic love and healing energies at her maximum potential, helping us to release, heal and let go of the emotional turmoil that many of us have experienced throughout the year. We need to bring peace to our past, so that we can move forward to our future." Empower Astrology When we heal ourselves, we heal our ancestors from wounds that run deep in our family. When we heal our ancestors, we heal the world from wounds that run deep in humanity. -Miriam Rose.

23.01.2022 Here's one more beach story: "One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my best friend. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed footprints in the sand,... Sometimes there were two footprints, and I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked my friend "You said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You were not there for me." He whispered, "When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

22.01.2022 Today was supposed to be more or less a rest day. However, it turned into a deep-water-soloing and jumping-off-cliffs sort of day. Gotta go with the flow ;-) P.s. and yes, I did my full moon meditation this morning

22.01.2022 I once asked Siddhi Ma, Ma should I meditate? Because I was doing a lot of these meditation courses with Tibetans and learning all these practices and enjoyin...g it quite a bit. I said, Ma should I meditate? She said, In 40 years with Maharaj-ji, not once did He ask me to meditate. And then I said, Well, should I meditate or should I sing? And She said, Well, what do you like to do? It never occurred to me that what I liked to do might be good for me. But you see how subtle it is? You know? In her mind, chanting, meditation, no problem, same. In my mind, it was different because it was hard and must be good for me, and chanting was easy and must not be good for me. I was doing that to myself. Join us this evening to honor Sri Siddhi Ma, on the 3rd Anniversary of her Samadhi Watch on Brooklyn Kirtan Collective at 6:30pm (NY Time) or https://www.youtube.com/user/ninaraochant

19.01.2022 Here's another beach/wave story ... This is story about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He’s enjoying the wind and the fresh airuntil he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore. ‘My God, this is terrible,’ the wave says ‘Look what’s going to happen to me!’ Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave, looking grim, and it says to him, ‘Why do you look so sad?’ The first wave says, ‘You don’t u...nderstand! We’re all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! Isn’t it terrible?’ The second wave says, ‘No, you don’t understand. You’re not a wave, you’re part of the ocean.’ Part of the ocean, he says. Part of the ocean. 16.01.2022 While we are spending the next two days at the beach, I remembered this story and thought, I'd share it with you: "Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach every morning before he began his work. Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, stretching in both directions. Off in the d...istance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching. As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea. The boy came closer still and the man called out, Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing? The young boy paused, looked up, and replied Throwing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they can’t return to the sea by themselves, the youth replied. When the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water. The old man replied, But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I’m afraid you won’t really be able to make much of a difference. The boy bent down, picked up yet another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean. Then he turned, smiled and said, It made a difference to that one!
