25.01.2022 A great initiative from Frankie Evason in consultation with 41 womxn who regularly attend Brisbanes electronic music events were engaged to discuss their previous experiences of safety at raves, and provide feedback about how events could be improved in the future. It is their lived experiences that form this letter and the 10 measures it proposes. These 10 inexpensive and achievable measures, when put into practice, aim to create a safer experience for all attendees. They offer these measures to the wider community in the hopes that they will be adopted by events organisers and inform future event planning.
23.01.2022 Earlier this week we spoke about the impacts of COVID-19 on festivals with Woodford Folk Festival, Horizon Festival, Creative Alliance Queensland and Arts Front.

22.01.2022 If nothing else, the Yonder 2019 lineup was incredibly eclectic. We are so thankful to all the artists that joined us from around Australia and the world, from Hobarts pirate punks The Dead Maggies to Tokyo guitar god KENTA HAYASHI. At the end of the day, what all these differing artists shared is what Yonder is about - experimentation, innovation, and the dedication to take it to the next level. Artists pictured: PocketLove, The Stragglers - AUS, Tijuana cartel and PARTY D...OZEN Lauren Crabbe and @jaysvisuals__

Over the next few weeks and months we will be trialing some live streaming of artists, performers and instructors connected to the festival to share and support each other. This Saturday morning we will be streaming a Yoga and Handstand session with Moe Hassani who has run workshops at Yonder. ... Please join the live feed prior to 8am to be ready for the initial instructions. Prop your phone up somewhere in front of you and turn the audio up, prepare a mat and Moe will lead you through the session. 14.01.2022 Yonder 2019 was a blast. We saw local Brisbane acts reach new heights, spectacular sets from our interstate and international acts. A more positive, supportive, inclusive atmosphere than we have ever experienced before. Most importantly, a culture was created. A culture of pushing the envelope with one hand and leading a friend with the other. A culture of innovation, encouragement and commitment to the moment. Thank you to everyone that contributed to this shared experience! Register for 2020 presales here https://arep.co/p/yonder-2020
