12.01.2022 Dancing on ice!!!???? Love the song!!

07.01.2022 The Dance Group has agreed the Shire has agreed and we’ve booked the Lesser Hall So it’s back to dancing Wednesday 23rd September Key things to know as we start dancing. These are essential components of the Covid Safe Plan that we have submitted to the Shire of York and are essential for the safety of fellow dancers: 1. Stay away if you are feeling unwell especially if you have any flu-like symptoms or other respiratory conditions.... 2. Hand Hygiene. This has been a key part of Government health directives in the Covis-19 era and is critical in ensuring that your dancing friends can feel safe. Hands must be sanitised (or washed in soap and water for at least 20 seconds) whenever: - Your arrive at dancing - You go to the tea/coffee station - You change dance partners on the night. 3. Physical Distancing. Again this remains a key element of health directives at all levels of Government. In WA the requirement is 1.5m of physical distancing. This must be observed at all times, except when you are actually dancing for which there is an exemption as partner dancing is classified as a contact sport and is therefore allowed. 4. Self Service Tea/Coffee is permitted (up to 30 people), but is subject to hand hygiene as mentioned above. Individually wrapped packets of biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own cup! We will not be providing lollies at this time as there is no healthy way of distributing them. 5. Supper Nights will still occur on the first Wednesday of the month, but initially will be on the basis of bring your own rather than the usual bring and share. 6. Christmas Party we are keen to proceed with this in some form and are currently investigating some options to put to you. 7. Dancing does not change much, except that for the time being there will not be any progressive / flirtation dances. Please note that we cannot compromise on any of the above requirements if you have any concerns about them, please discuss it with one of the Committee members so that they can explain the reasons behind them.
