24.01.2022 Big news for our tourism sector today with confirmation that South Australia will not reopen its borders to Victoria on July 20 as previously announced. Premier Steven Marshall says the decision is based on coronavirus outbreaks in Victoria, and to ensure South Australians had advance notice to plan ahead for the upcoming school holidays. "We are very hopeful that Victoria will be able to bring their outbreaks under control but at this stage we cannot possibly lift that borde...r on 20 July as we were hoping to do," Premier Marshall told media at a press conference this morning. https://elink.clickdimensions.com//4b086006-0c45-46ea-bc90 See more

19.01.2022 Communities living close to South Australias border with Victoria will face tighter rules while restrictions on gatherings in SA homes will be eased under changes to COVID-19 conditions announced by the Police Commissioner Grant Stevens yesterday. Stevens also confirmed that a range of venues including gyms, shopping centres, cafes, food courts, places of worship and licensed premises will be required to have a clearly identified COVID marshal on premises from August 21. This will be a visual reminder to patrons to comply with social distancing and other hygiene measures. https://indaily.com.au//what-we-know-today-thursday-augu/

08.01.2022 14 months ago I went to Adelaide and saw this presented to the judging panel. Taking out the Silver eNVIe in the metropolitan awards Matthew Stead did his by a pre-recorded video, as he was over in Europe pitching (Ping Services), his wind turbine management system to one of the largest Wind farm operations in the world. The innovations and enterprises that I saw in 2018 after doing the Inaugural NVI Accelerator, were inspiring. A passion to help people living with disability access adventure experiences and plan travel earnt Clair Crowley, founder of The Good Scout Travel Company, the top honour of Gold eNVIe.. 07.01.2022 Fresh SA restrictions on horizon South Australians are being warned to brace for more restrictions despite the state recording its first day of no new infection...s in a week yesterday. SA Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said people should prepare to face tighter restrictions if more cases are diagnosed. If the number of active cases in South Australia increases, particularly around the community transmission side of things I think were going to have to take some steps that make it harder for the virus to spread through the community, he told ABC Radio https://www.abc.net.au//sa-reimposes-coronavirus-/12517932

05.01.2022 South Australia does have a good number of places to visit. Pre-COVID residents were choosing to go international and interstate over an intra state trip https://indaily.com.au//regions-shake-off-winter-blues-wi/

01.01.2022 The South Australia economy supports an estimated 742,723 jobs, representing and 6.95% of the 10,683,322 people working in Australia. Mining The Mining Division includes units that mainly extract naturally occurring mineral solids, such as coal and ores; liquid minerals, such as crude petroleum; and gases, such as natural gas. The term mining is used in the broad sense to include underground or open cut mining; dredging; quarrying; well operations or evaporation pans; recover...y from ore dumps or tailings as well as beneficiation activities (i.e. preparing, including crushing, screening, washing and flotation) and other preparation work customarily performed at the mine site, or as a part of mining activity. The Mining Division distinguishes two basic activities: mine operation and mining support activities. Mine operation includes units operating mines, quarries, or oil and gas wells on their own account, or for others on a contract or fee basis, as well as mining sites under development. Mining support activities include units that perform mining services on a contract or fee basis, and exploration (except geophysical surveying). Units in the Mining Division are grouped and classified according to the natural resource mined or to be mined. Industries include units that extract natural resources, and/or those that beneficiate the mineral mined. Beneficiation is the process whereby the extracted material is reduced to particles that can be separated into mineral and waste, the former suitable for further processing or direct use. The operations that take place in beneficiation are primarily mechanical, such as grinding, washing, magnetic separation, and centrifugal separation. In contrast, manufacturing operations primarily use chemical and electro-chemical processes, such as electrolysis and distillation. https://goingtoplaces.com.au/goingtoplaces-travel-apps/ See more
