25.01.2022 This is something we have shared with the children this week to celebrate NAIDOC week. This supports our own Acknowledgment of Country that the children say each morning as part of our daily celebration of diversity within our community.

23.01.2022 A chaotic day, thank you everyone for your patience as we navigate the path forward as cautiously as possible! As with all information sent today, we will continue to keep you posted as information arrives. Stay safe, Louise & Co

16.01.2022 Extra caution tomorrow stay safe Louise

15.01.2022 Celebrating NAIDOC week as part of our continuing journey about diversity. We read ‘Took the Children Away’ by Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter and played the song. We had fabulous discussion about what had happened and children expressed great empathy towards the children and families this had happened to. Some of them wore their T shirts we painted for Reconciliation Week with the message ‘All in this Together.’Their memories about previous discussion continue to astound us. These children will be a part of the change we need to see in Australia.

15.01.2022 We have sent an email to all YCCC families with children attending tomorrow... please take a moment to have a look at and be familiar with the DfE’s ‘Bushfire and your child’s School or Preschool’ pamphlet. It is full of helpful information about our approach to managing bushfire risk, take care & stay safe

We will not be serving and food. Please RSVP to the PS or RC phone or via your child’s diary. Thank you for your understanding, Kind regards Louise, Jill, Emma, Courtney, Annette, Ebony, Felicity and Lee-Anne

12.01.2022 Oh what a night... lightening, thunder, rain and fires coupled with no power - just a little reminder from the children that we are so grateful to live in the community that we do. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to keep us safe during last nights incredible storm!

11.01.2022 Hello Families, We are organising our end of year raffle and are asking for donations of non-perishable items to put into our hamper. In previous years popular items have been, vouchers from our local community, produce, wine, chocolates etc. We understand that 2020 has been a difficult year... we would like to send each family home with a book of 10 tickets @ $2 p/ticket. Our fundraising has been considerably limited this year so we thank those who are able to donate anythi...ng at all however small. We would like to purchase some new socio-dramatic play equipment for the centre. Items can be left at the centre or sent in with children, Kind regards Louise, Jill, Emma, Annette, Courtney, Felicity, Lee-Anne and Ebony See more

10.01.2022 Please ensure that if you or your children are unwell that you stay home. Stay safe all and just a reminder that we are asking families to farewell children at the door as we continue to practice Covid safe routines. Take care, Louise

08.01.2022 Thank you to all in our community who have worked so hard to ensure our safety. Thank you especially to all of the essential workers who continued their jobs to provide many things for those in complete lockdown you are the best!!! Great news as we return to some sort of ‘new normal’ from Monday at YCCC. We will continue to meet children & families at the front gate and educators will quite likely continue to wear masks. Please chat with your children about this so that they are aware . Have a lovely weekend and enjoy some exercise Cheers Louise & Co
