22.01.2022 A little bit late but what a great author event we had at the Melville Hotel on Sunday November 1 with non other than our local author Tricia Stringer. Tricia spoke about her new book the Family Inheritance and read an extract from it leaving you with wanting more. Margie and Mark Arnold from Megs Book shop in Pt Pirie where there selling books to excited patrons who could not wait to get them signed. The event was a sell out and thanks must go to the Melville Hotel for their hospitality and great 2 course meal. Shirley Thompson themed the tables to the book and everyone received a jelly cake (need to read the book to find out why) so if you could not purchase a copy come and borrow it from Yorketown Community Library

11.01.2022 How awesome is this our table decorations and stage decoration that Di Griffiths made for us for our literary event in October with Monica McInerney have now popped up in Dymocks in Adelaide advertising her book. Below is a lovely message I received from Monica McInerney this morning. Good Morning from Adelaide. Shirley I hope all is good on the Yorke Peninsula. I'm still busy with my tour but into final events now. Still getting great reaction to Diane's amazing stage and table decorations, sharing them with special people, including my good friends at Dymocks Rundle Mall who have put them on display in their store too! Would you please be able to show Diane these photos from Dymocks and give her a big thanks too. I'm thrilled they are getting a whole new audience again with warm wishes Monica.
