25.01.2022 Another fantastic drawing by one of our delightful little patients! There is something special about receiving these pictures that brings such a smile to our faces Happy Friday Everyone!

23.01.2022 Due to the Government's Circuit Breaker Stay at Home Direction we will be closed for services. Our phones will still be answered for proper referral of critical cases 8852 1172. We will be in contact if you have an appointment in the next week to reschedule. Stay safe everyone

23.01.2022 Summer has started! It's time to change your toothbrush, every three months is recommended or a good way to remember is at the start of every season! Your toothbrush is much less effective when the bristles are frayed from over use.

22.01.2022 Tooth Tip Tuesday Finishing a meal with a cube of cheese is a great (and tasty!) way to reduce or neutralise the effect of acids from the foods damaging your teeth.

22.01.2022 You would think that as dentists, we must hate Halloween.. NOPE!! There is nothing wrong with enjoying sweet treats, but it does helps to be aware of the best ways to care for your teeth while enjoying your sweets! Here are some helpful tips: -Choose your candy carefully! Avoid hard candy and other sweets that stay in your mouth for a long time. Aside from how often you snack, the length of time sugary food is in your mouth plays a role in tooth decay. -Avoid sticky situations! Sticky candies cling to your teeth. The stickier candies, like toffee and gummy bears, take longer to get washed away by saliva, increasing the risk for tooth decay. -Brush twice a day and never miss your dental appointments with us!

18.01.2022 Tooth Tip Tuesday

17.01.2022 Tooth Tip Tuesday In order to help keep your teeth clean throughout the day, try eating some raw vegetables such as carrots and celery! This can help cut down on plaque, also a healthy snack.

17.01.2022 Have a great weekend everyone!

16.01.2022 You may be wondering why our Dental Team became qualified phlebotomist on the weekend.... We regularly use PRF (Platelet-rich fibrin) a byproduct of our blood. What is PRF about and how it works?... First, we take a small amount of blood from you. Next, we place the blood into the PRF centrifuge machine, where it is separated out into red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and growth factors. As we are performing a tooth removal, bone grafting, dental implant or other complex surgeries, we can add the fortified blood back into your body to promote healing in the site where it’s needed. The combination of platelets and growth factors have regenerative capabilities, healing hard and soft tissue more quickly, and help you recover faster after surgery optimizing the results, and reduces the chances of warned infection. The new direction also makes it compulsory to wear masks, these will be made available to everyone. Thank you for your assistance in helping #StopTheSpreadOfCOVID19

10.01.2022 We love giving our patients tips to help improve their oral health. Today’s #ToothTipTuesday is: Try switching hands when you brush. We often miss the same spots of plaque because of the angle we create with one hand. To get a whole mouth clean be ambidextrous with your toothbrush! ... You can brush right-handed in the morning and left-handed at night. Go on, give it a go! See more

10.01.2022 It's going to be a hot one today! Drinking water is not only a great way to stay hydrated, but it can also wash away excess cavity causing bacteria caused by left over food

05.01.2022 Tooth Tip Tuesday Avoid using your teeth for anything other than chewing. If you use them to crack or open things, you risk cracking or breaking your teeth.

05.01.2022 Keep up your child's good oral hygiene habits with this helpful brushing chart. Print out at home, insert into an A4 frame or laminate, place in the bathroom and then they can tick it using a whiteboard marker. Easy to clean and re-use! Other options and styles posted in the comments. Share with your friends!

04.01.2022 Just another Tooth Tip Tuesdayfor you! How to clean your tongue: Position your toothbrush at the back of the tongue. Brush lightly forward and backward along your tongue. Spit out saliva that appears during the brushing and rinse out the toothbrush with warm water. Clean your tongue as often as you brush your teeth.... A lot of toothbrushes come with tongue scrapers at the back with short bumps specially designed!

03.01.2022 TOOTH TIP TUESDAY Make sure you're always flossing! You don't want to end up like this guy and have leftover food stuck in between your teeth!
