24.01.2022 This term Mr Lehuray and Mrs Linford have been running a lunchtime dodgeball competition for Stage 3. Congratulations to the Swans for finishing top of the leader board and winning the all important Golden Cup. Next term Stage 3 will have the opportunity to play in a Touch/Oztag lunchtime competition...... details to come.

20.01.2022 In the absence of PSSA during 2020, our wonderful House Captains have stepped up. Over the past two terms, they have set-up, scored and assisted in running lunchtime sporting competitions for Stage 3. After ten weeks and over 30 games, today was the Final of the dodgeball competition which saw the Swans defeat the Patriots 10 goals to 5. Students across Stage 3 have worked brilliantly together in mixed teams and have enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Well done everyone!
20.01.2022 There was a traffic incident involving a member of the public this afternoon at the corner of Maxwell and Evan St. Police and Ambulance have been in attendance and the member of the public has been taken to hospital. No students were involved. **Buses may be a little delayed due to traffic.

15.01.2022 Today the Stage 1 students celebrated the end of term with a Spring Fun Day. The students rotated through a number of activities like singing, play, flower craft, butterfly life cycles, gratitude flowers, yoga and poetry writing. The students and teachers had a great day.

14.01.2022 Community Announcement- St Nicholas of Myra Sacramental Program - Confirmation There will be a meeting for parents who wish to enrol their children for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The meeting will be held in the Church on Tuesday 13th October at 7.00pm. Please note that you must attend this meeting in order to enrol your child in the program. Further information will be provided at the meeting. To be eligible to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, children must be baptised and made their First Holy Communion. They must also be in Year 5 or above.
13.01.2022 Today Kindergarten explored maths concepts. They enjoyed many different activities to build their learning about volume and capacity. They even made fairy bread to explore fractions 1/2 and 1/4 in everyday contexts.
13.01.2022 This week, 5L finished collating their fitness data from their Panthers on the Prowl group sessions. They then learnt how to use Google Sheets to create column and line graphs to represent their data. Finally, they imported their graphs to Google Slides to make a presentation that described their observations.

12.01.2022 Well Done to our Year 5 students who made their speeches for voting of the 2021 Leadership Team yesterday - they were FANTASTIC. Parents of successful applicants will be contacted on Monday 7th December and the leaders will be announced at the Year 5 Presentation Day on Thursday 10th December.

03.01.2022 4S have been working hard on refining their research skills to develop information reports. Over the past few weeks we have researched facts on a chosen animal and written a report based on that animal. After peer and teacher writing conferences, students then published their report into mini information books. Also, we decided to refine our research skill further by spending time researching Canada to farewell one of our classmates. 4S have worked amazingly hard during Term 3!
