01.01.2022 With the assistance of QLD Police we will be hosting a seminar on bullying and the impact it has on children. Followed by self defence lessons running over the holiday period, excluding over Xmas, New Years. 10th December 2020 is the planned date. Topics of interest I have in mind are: - cyber bullying... - how to be productive in the holiday period, staying out of trouble and not driving parents mad - transition from primary to high school, related issues around bullying and self awareness - dealing with physical and mental abuse - knowing when your part of the problem not the solution i.e. your a bully yourself - situational awareness, knowing what to look out for. The tell take signs of a dangerous situation. How to avoid one - existing problems, how to resolve current issues. How to reframe from making matters worse Having a police officer speak to them will I believe have a lasting impact on their lives.
