22.01.2022 Another massive week for us. We are now working every Thursday over the border and Fridays out of town. We look after 7 large acerage gardens, which are our main income. Tuesdays I spend 5 hours at one garden, while Gary mows without me. Our smaller mowing jobs and other regular garden requests have to fit into Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays . Every third week we head to Stanthorpe, probably Wednesday. Mowing on those days is a priority while the grass is growing so much.... However, we may not fit everyone in those 3 days, therefore they will carry over to the next week. That means we cannot schedule days and times. We need at least a weeks notice , sometimes longer, to be added to the mowing list , if you dont already have a regular mowing routine. This year we are holding off on all mulching jobs, tree trimming, and major garden tidys until the cooler weather kicks in. We already have an open garden day to prep for, and 2 of our acerage gardens are being overhauled in Autumn. That means lots of extra time in those gardens in the next few months. See more

21.01.2022 Quite a big day of hedging today. With Christmas 5 weeks away, we are now prepping for it, and will be flat out for the next 5 weeks. We are taking a short break between Christmas and new years, so our mowing schedule will change in the lead up to Christmas , to make sure everyone is mowed just prior to Christmas. If it rains over the break, our first week back in January will also be priority mowing.

17.01.2022 Friday finishes. Was a tad wet this morning here, so we delayed the mowing and hedging jobs. Instead planting out another 50 Japanese box for a hedge. Found the Smurf Village, then after we left the rain stopped. But it was onto the next big mowing job by then. Over 300 plants planted in the last 7 days. Raining again now, but its very welcome to settle the plants in. - The neighbours are loving it to.

17.01.2022 We have had a massive week. 2 days Prepping a garden for a bus tour. Lots of mowing. Garden jobs, and planted 160 plants today. We already have multiple new projects on the books for next year, so are already planning for these things now. At the end of the day, my favourite place to be found, is walking around my garden. That's where I'll spend my weekend.

16.01.2022 Hard day at the office again. I havnt seen paper daisies in so long.

14.01.2022 Ajuga chocolate chip, supplied by the Weeping Mulberry. Planted under ornamental pear In a courtyard. One of the many jobs we did this week.

13.01.2022 Condamine Sports club. White Jasmine and red roses. A lovely combination.

13.01.2022 When its 43 outside, and you were mulching.

12.01.2022 Once again , lack of rain has meant we are now making decisions on whether to extend mowing out an extra week. A few this week, we had made the call to hold off another week, hoping it would storm today. But nothing once again. If we don't see rain soon, we will have to re assess our fortnightly routine again.

12.01.2022 We work in so many beautiful gardens, but Its always nice to come home after a huge day, to my work in progress. More mowing tomorrow. We've had a massive 3 weeks. It doesn't look like easing up either.

12.01.2022 Olive trees can grow huge. These ones are hedged frequently to keep them to a manageable size.

12.01.2022 Oiii. What yaaa doooooin? Not hedging my hedge I hope. No. Not today mr Snake. Been the week of snakes. 2 baby browns early in the week. This green tree snake today and 5 minutes after we saw him, a huge red belly black.

10.01.2022 I love garden art.

08.01.2022 Today its all about nice balls.

07.01.2022 Its still as beautiful.

05.01.2022 With the forecast heatwave coming over the next week, with temps in the 40s, we have been putting as much extra water as we can into the gardens that have their own water supplies, in preparation for it. Not looking forward to working in it, but we have so much to do in preparation for Christmas, we can't take time off. 6 hours today hedging abelia domes. So much more to do in less then 4 weeks.

04.01.2022 Massive week ahead. Lots of mowing that needs to be crammed into tomorrow and hopefully Thursday afternoon. 2 full days prepping a garden for a bus tour Thursday. Two regular Thursday gardens of 2 or 3 hours each, plus mowing, And Fridays regular out of town weekly job. We have had so many requests for mowing this week, that unfortunately had to be rolled over to next week, as we are fully booked. If you dont have a regular booking, please contact us as earliest you can, and we will add you to the wait list. In between I need to pick up plants for a job next week, and supplies for jobs. The rain has been a blessing.

03.01.2022 They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."

01.01.2022 Happy Australia Day weekend Cricket Carnival.

01.01.2022 6 mowing weeks until Christmas. . We are locking in our schedule this week, for the next 6 weeks. We take a short break between Christmas and New Year, and prioritise mowing the first week of 2021. Things are getting hectic.
