24.01.2022 I have pledged to Light Up the Dawn on 25th April 2020. To commemorate this special day, and light up our driveways, in support of our defence force, past and present I have decided to create a Light Up the Dawn Candle. All profits from these candles will be donated to Mates4Mates, on your behalf, to support veterans and their families.... Mates4Mates is one one Australia's leading charities actively changing the lives of current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members and their families impacted by service. The candle will be a $10 travel tin with free local delivery or contactless pick up. More to come. I have set up a fundraising page and have authority from Mates4Mates to raise these funds on their behalf.

22.01.2022 Do Not Do This At Home As I watch yet another storm roll in I thought it was a good time to remind you to bring your candles in from the weather. Why? One of the biggest problems is your wick won't relight once it's been soaked, it will splutter and crackle and put itself out. Wax and water don't mix, you may find your wax seems to expand and you could loose your wick. You may also find that bugs or other foreign objects set into your melted wax, so apart from the ascetics this can be a potential fire hazard.

22.01.2022 #dogbiscuitaprreciationday These are, hands down Piper's favourite treats and so easy to make. 2 cups of plain flour 1/2 cup peanut paste 2 eggs... 1/4 cup of water Mix flour, peanut paste and eggs, add in water a little at a time until mixture is wet enough to roll. Roll and cut dough, bake at 175 for approx 15 minutes. Piper doesn't even care if I don't bake them! Let me know if your puppy loves them as much as mine.
