24.01.2022 Erin brought in her 7 rescue ferrets (and one little Dachshund) for their first photo shoot on Saturday. I couldn't have been happier, ferrets are just super sweet and at the same time very cheeky, which just adds to their appeal IMHO. They are also super fast and wiggly, as you can see in the composition below. Thanks for bringing them in, I had so much fun!

22.01.2022 Happy New Year! As we're all getting back to work and into the swing of things I thought it would be nice to show you Alaskan Malamute Delphi and ragdoll kitten Maevis (don't you just love that name?) as they cuddled up on the backdrop together during their shoot.

21.01.2022 Australian Cat Gothic When Josie called me to discuss her and Matthew's ideas for a photo shoot I was immediately intrigued. After all, I don't get asked to do an ironic shoot every day. And here we are. Reminiscent of the 1930's painting by Grant Wood I present to you: an Australian Cat Gothic, feat. Lia, who played her feline part wonderfully. Just look at her expressions!

19.01.2022 We're back! Studio photo sessions for puppies and all other wet nosed companions, as well as location shoots for horses are starting again from next week.

19.01.2022 Spot the differences! A lot of times it remains a bit of a mystery as to what happens to your images when they are being processed for printing, so I thought I post a recent example. In the before and after image you get a glimpse of how close I need to go to retouch an approx. A4 size print to perfection. Nobody wants hair on their clothes or dried tears on their puppy! :) Bigger prints mean higher resolution which basically means I need to get a lot closer than this! Finally the completed image, ready to be printed.

17.01.2022 Sandra's beautiful Boyd had his turn at having his very own photo session with you & me photography earlier this month at Sunninghill Equestrian Centre. Their indoor arena made it possible to do some studio style photography with Boyd, who behaved so well considering how scary the whole situation was for him. Go Boyd!

16.01.2022 When Frankie and Freddy came in for their shoot last month it was very hard for me to contain myself, stay professional and focus on their portrait session, I'm sure you can see why! Cuddles and kisses had to be had. Frankie is 6 months old in these shots and was so patient with us focusing so much attention on her baby brother (9 weeks) - even putting him on her back. In the end little Freddy had a nap on his big sister's paw
