24.01.2022 Our chief Operations Manager, Rachael Carter, is always first to jump in (or jump OUT in this case) to support refugees in the community. Rachael always leads by example and we are thankful for her leadership and commitment to making Australia a friendly place for refugees to live. #DiveToThrive #youBelong

13.01.2022 Skydiving - Covid style! Everyone was feeling confident and excited about their jumps until the diving instructor told us it would be his first time sky diving too! Watch this video to see the exhilarated faces of the divers as they were freefalling in the sky.... @goldcoastskydiving It's not too late to contribute: www.mycause.com.au/events/divetothrive #divetothrive #refugeesInAustralia

12.01.2022 In the words of Garth Brook's new song 'We belong to each other. We are sister and brother. Born to love one another.' Refugee home visits are an important part of what we do. Help us spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season by volunteering some time or skills: www.youbelong.org.au/volunteer
11.01.2022 Sam Grimes and Firas are kitted up and ready to jump, the last dives of the day. #divetothrive #refugeesforrefugees
09.01.2022 Photo: Former refugee from Iraq working at 2 Brothers Traditional Barber in Toowoomba. We want to highlight and appreciate some refugees who are giving their all, finding jobs and contributing to community workplaces, all whilst learning the language and getting on their feet. We also want to acknowledge the businesses who are giving refugees 'a fair go' by providing employment opportunities and apprenticeships.... Australians have always been about mateship and togetherness, and we aplaud each business for making space to empower our newest residents. We have heard many good reports about how refugees are proving to be dedicated and reliable workers. #YouBelong #refugeesInAustralia #refugeesInWorkplaces
07.01.2022 Please welcome our newest little Australian....Nadal! What a cutie. This fresh little baby belongs to a refugee family who have resettled here from war-torn Iraq. The muslin blanket, which you'll notice has a darling Australian wildlife pattern, was kindly gifted from a friendly neighbour who lives next door to the Iraqi family in Toowoomba.... It's the simple things. Neighbours loving their neighbours. #YouBelong #loveyourneighbor
06.01.2022 The first plane of sky divers are heading to the airport now! Watch our Facebook/Instagram stories to see more. It's not too late to donate www.mycause.com.au/events/divetothrive #DiveToThrive
06.01.2022 This is the feeling when you dive from a plane and be part of fundraising $16,000 for refugees! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who donated to our Dive To Thrive event. P.s It's not too late to contribute: www.mycause.com.au/events/divetothrive
06.01.2022 HIGHlights! We had 12 divers aged between 12 to 71 years old, from all walks of life and nations of the world. No-one chicken'd out and the best part is they raised $16,000 for refugee integration! Our 3 Iraqi divers made the day especially entertaining with their nervous-excitement, humor, 'last day on earth' phone calls to their families, and pride after jumping. There is no sky diving in Iraq, so this was a rare and sensational opportunity for them to be part of, and we lo...ved having them on board! Big cheers to everyone who's donated or shared the event. www.mycause.com.au/events/divetothrive #divetothrive
