18.01.2022 This weeks feature class is: Functional FIT is a class designed to get you moving in a fun way, we use whole body movements combined in a way to simulate common movements you might do at home, work or in sport. We use Vipres, Sandbags and Balls to strengthen your body, improve mobility and decrease pain leaving you to perform your day to day duties effortlessly - yes even vacuuming becomes easier We always end the class with a fun activity that leaves you feeling amazing.... Functional FIT classes run on: Tuesdays at 6am and 9.15am Thursdays at 4.45pm If you are looking for a class to start your return to exercise with, I highly recommend this one.

14.01.2022 Introducing April, who is up and at it early with us, taking our 6am classes with lots of enthusiasm. Qualifications: Cert IV of Fitness - Personal Trainer... Cert III of Fitness - Gym Instructor Pre & Post Natal exercise Registered Punchfit Instructor Profile: I had a lightbulb moment in 2005 when my sister asked me to be Maid of Honour for her wedding. I was overweight and determined to feel and look nice as her bridesmaid. I started exercising and eating healthier and within one year, I lost 25kg! That was it - I was hooked! Fitness was my passion! Since then there have been the ups and downs of life including an exercise obsession, working full time, living overseas, a binge eating disorder, a marriage breakup, another marriage, two pregnancies, gaining weight, losing weight, getting older - the list goes on! We all have our struggles but if there's anything I have learned it's that You can do It!!! There's nothing like being fit for a healthy mind and body! Through my experiences, I aim to motivate, encourage and educate my clients on how to lead their healthiest and happiest life! Experience: I began my fitness career in 2009 at Fitness First in Subiaco as a Gym Instructor. I loved meeting new people and increasing my knowledge, learning from the great coaches there. I then spent three years taking outdoor fitness classes along with training my own clients one-on-one. Now I am a trainer at You can do FIT taking early morning group training sessions - a great way to start your day!

11.01.2022 Balance tip Every time you walk down your hallway, do the heel to toe walk, pausing for 3 seconds with each step, if this is easy do with your eyes closed.
