20.01.2022 This is so very sad, but unfortunately true.We have been visiting nursing homes as private carers for about 12 years, and seen it all. I still think that the majority of the staff is good, but there is not enough of them. Since the March lock down we were unable to visit our clients in nursing homes; I am often wondering how are the nurses, carers cope without our help?

08.01.2022 Not just this Japanese lady is celebrating her 117th (and 261 days) birthday, but in Japan they are celebrating the "Respect for the Aged" day as well. I think we need a day to celebrate our Aged as well!

07.01.2022 I am doing Pilates 3-4 times a week with Central Pilates Sydney via Zoom. It is nice to see my Pilates friends and it is much fun as well as keeping me fit. There are more spots if you like to join. I had problems with my ankles and knees but by doing Pilates for the last 3-4 years, they are kept under control. Highly recommended!

05.01.2022 What a wonderful article this is. In our youth obsessed world it is interesting how we view ageing with fear when it is such a normal, natural and a gradual process. You don't get old overnight, so you don't really realize that you are old. Well, apart from some aches and pains... I think what we most fear is the possibility of losing control of our own life and the patronizing attitude from others. I often wonder; don't those young people who are disrespectful and degrading towards older people realize that -unless they fall off the perch sooner- going to be old one day too?
