25.01.2022 Attention to the massive population of Indian people living in Melbourne, especially young children both Boys and Girls 10-18 years of age plus also their parents, siblings and close friends. We would like to recruit some new lawn bowlers with the same talent levels and skills as shown in the video footage attached. These players both men and women from ages of 10 50 were part of the Delhi Commonwealth Games Lawn Bowls talent finding program conducted in Guwahati, Ranchi an...d Delhi. Players from this video became part of the Indian Commonwealth Games development squad which eventually became the foundation of the Indian Team in Delhi 2010. Tania Choudhary from Guwahati was only 14 years of age when she became to youngest player in history to ever compete at the Commonwealth Games. She had already won a bronze medal at the Asia Pacific Championships in Kuala Lumpur 2009. Alok Lakra who was also 14 years old represented India at The Gold Coast CWG 2018. The other young ladies shown had amazing hand eye skills and this is what we are looking for. Would you like to become a future talented star or champion for India or anywhere around the world in this wonderful game of Lawn Bowls? These players who represented India have travelled all over the world in this Commonwealth Games core sport. Sunday 3rd February 2019 10.00am -2.00pm Sunday 17th February 2019 10.00am- 2.00pm More Coaching and Introduction sessions will be conducted regularly as well as follow up coaching classes for persons wanting to improve delivery and skills. Coaching sessions will be conducted by Ex Indian Commonwealth Games 2010 Lawn Bowls Coach Mr Richard Gale who is also Head Coach of Young Australians Lawn Bowls Academy/ Young Indian Lawn Bowls Academy plus other Western Warriors Coaching staff including Mr Garry Ball and Graham McKinnon. COACHING SESSIONS will be FREE OF COST Family BBQ will be held also FREE to all people who attend introduction sessions. Please share throughout the community with your family and friends. 08.01.2022 MASSIVE JUNIOR LAWN BOWLS COACHING PROGRAM How would your children aged 10 -18 years of age like to become involved in the Western Warriors Junior Lawn Bowls Development coaching programs conducted at the Deer Park Sports Club Indoor Bowls Stadium on Monday nights from 4pm to 7pm. Coaching and introduction sessions will start from 17 June every Monday evening till end of 2019. All students both boys and girls are welcome to attend. Parents are also welcome to be come involved in coaching sessions as well.

01.01.2022 The Young Australians lawn Bowls Academy who has conducted large scale junior recruitment programs in NSW from 2003-2008 at Club Merrylands, St Johns Park, Mounties, Port Macquarie City and Warilla Recreation Club with on 20,000 secondary schools students coaching in the skills of Lawn Bowls is now operating on a part time basis. These one, two or three week coaching sessions can be time tabled to suit bowling club and schools interested in development of the sport through sp...ort sessions all over NSW or Victoria.
