25.01.2022 We have 2 colour toner cartridges for a Brother printer that we are looking to sell as we no longer have that printer. They are both brand new, magenta one isn't even opened, the black one is opened but hasn't been put in a printer. Only asking $100 for both (we paid that for each of them) Don't want to see them go to waste. Drop into the office and see us if you are interested.

22.01.2022 As of Wednesday 1st July a lot of things changed in regards to coming on service with us and most aged care services. The My Aged Care website is now up and running for you to use to access any services you require. Find us on there. http://www.myagedcare.gov.au/

22.01.2022 We would like to extend A BIG THANK YOU to Sam and Craig from the local Fire Brigade for stepping up and assisting staff with Meals on Wheels deliveries during the COVID -19 pandemic. Your generosity, commitment and time to our community is what makes Young such a great place. As some of you may be aware, our wonderful volunteers have been unable to deliver meals during this time as per Department of Health directions. With only volunteers under the age of 70 being permitted ...to return, we are not quite back to full strength and Sam and Craig are continuing to support us with deliveries. Local member Steph Cook come along to help us thank Sam and Craig personally. They are pictured with the meals and essential items being distributed during this time by NSW Meals on Wheels. These include toilet paper donated by Woolworths and disinfectant from our new partnership with Glen 20. Because of you, together we have continued to serve our community and be a positive force in people’s lives. 21.01.2022 Our volunteer functions are fast approaching! We are looking forward to being able to thank our much appreciated volunteers that help keep our service afloat.

21.01.2022 We have some beautiful frozen meals for sale. They are very easy to reheat. We will give you 1 free meal & sweets if you are an elgible customer and register with our service. Why not come in and have a look. If you are not eligible we can still supply meals but at an additional cost.

18.01.2022 Its coming up to that time of year again. All the Christmas parties are starting to happen. Invites are going out to our clients as we speak. Just remember also, just because its Christmas, doesn't mean we stop delivering. Hot meals are delivered EVERYDAY of the year, including Christmas day.

12.01.2022 Our Annual General Meeting is upon us again. Tuesday 15th September at 10am at the Young Services Club. Everyone is invited to attend

09.01.2022 Management & Staff at Meals on Wheels would like to wish everyone a happy & safe Easter. The office is closed the 18th, 21st & 25th of April, but hot meal deliveries are still happening on all public holidays.

08.01.2022 We've been offline for a while, times gets away! But, we are still here in the office working away as always. We'd love to see any new clients who could use some help from our service. If you have someone in mind give us a call on 6382 5008 or pop into the office in the Marie McCormick Centre. We are also offering our clients a home visit program in conjunction with volunteers from our local St Vincent De Paul. If you'd like to know more, let us know.

07.01.2022 Don't forget Seniors Week is next week. There are a lot of events happening locally, including the Seniors Expo at Blue Still (formally JD's Jam Factory) on Monday 16th March. Lots of local service providers will be in attendance, so its your one stop shop for any information you need on local services you may have thought about but never been quite sure where to go to find out about. Great for family members to go with Mum/Dad, Grandma/Grandpa etc to see what is on offer for them. Come along for a cuppa and a chat. Hope to see you all there!

07.01.2022 Seniors Week - Healthy Ageing Expo is on at the Town Hall NOW! Lots of information, guest speakers and services there to check out. Til 2pm Thursday 20/3

06.01.2022 Another successful Seniors Week done! Mystery bus trip, Expo day, movie day, and a fishing day at Chinaman's Dam thanks to the Young Fishing Club and the luncheon as well. Thanks to all involved, it was a great week.
