23.01.2022 This Saturday the Saints travel to Bathurst to take on the Bushrangers & we celebrate a few milestones for players. Captain Kai Frame will notch up his 100th senior game for us & it is quite fitting that it is against the club that he also represented over 100 times. Ethan Cummins will represent the Saints for the 50th time & the big ruckman is more than certain to put in a strong performance as usual. Finally,one of the new boys to the Saints this season Jason McKinnon will play his 100th senior grade game aswell. Congratulations Capper,Melon & Jase on your milestones this week from all of us at the Saints.

19.01.2022 This week's old boys day will see Robert Flynn join the 100 club & Brodie Harmer-Clark become the latest junior to play 100 club games. Flynny began at the club in 2011 & played in two grand finals, res grd runners-up in '13 & res grd premiers in '15. Brodie started playing in the auskick program then through the ranks as a tough determined midfielder & defender. He was a member of the Saints U14 premiers with older brother Brayden in 2012 then progressed into the 17/18's & over the last two seasons in first grade alongside Brayden & father Geoff Harmer helping to create some club history in the process. Congratulations Flynny & Brodie on the milestones & enjoy the day.

19.01.2022 FITNESS,FOOTY,FUN All men,women,boys & girls are encouraged to come along and learn new skills & get fit while having fun. Pre-season training will re-comence every Tuesday and Thursday 6pm at Burrangong oval from January 30. The club is hoping to field sides in first grade and open women's (16 & over) as well as juniors (boys & girls aged10-16 yrs) in the following U12,14 & 16's.

18.01.2022 The Young Saints AFC would like to congratulate Ben Anderson & wish him all the best this Saturday vs Bathurst Giants in his 100th club game. Ben started with the club in our U17 ranks which he had the honour of captaining in the 2012 GF vs Dubbo. Since then he has been a regular & contributing member of our senior squad & experienced GF glory in 2015's reserve grade campaign. This season has seen him mature into an all round footballer & future leader of our club. Congrats Benny A from all involved at the Saints.

17.01.2022 There's no easy way to say it so here goes....the Young Saints are no more. I'm not going to go into things because this is hard enough as it is. Thankyou Patrick Watkin for 12yrs of committee and volunteer service nobody did more or showed the passion you did for the game and club you love. Thankyou Jacob Dodge for working with me over the last 18months trying to get the club up and running it's much appreciated. I,along with Pat experienced this same feeling in '88 when the club went into a 19yr recess and its just as gut wrenching now as it was then. Playing and volunteering with this club has enabled me to make many friends within the club and the Central West competition,friends I'll treasure a lifetime. Kel has been with us on & off now for a few years & has progressed through to be a vital link in our campaigns. It has been pleasing to see him go from a willing young player to a tough & formidable player who leads by example & can lift his team mates with a dogged approach to the game. Well done mate & may you celebrate with a win vs the D's.

16.01.2022 Great day today at the Young Saints Auskick Gala Day! Thanks to the kids and parents of Bathurst Bushrangers, Bathurst Giants and Cootamundra Blues for coming out today. There was a lot of great footy played today and loads fun was had by all the girls and boys. A big shout out to Anthony Webb for organising such a great day!... Thanks too to our Senior Men's coach Brad McKinnon for coming out and umpiring and helping out with the kids!

16.01.2022 It is with regret that the Young AFC are informing our followers & supporters that the club has had to withdraw from the 2018 CWAFL competition due to low player numbers. The CWAFL have been informed of the clubs regretful decision,but our committee is determined to stay active over the season & will be working hard to get the Saints back on the paddock as soon as possible in one form or another. Register at http://www.aflauskick.com.au Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings at 4.30pm starting on the 2nd of May at the home of ...the Young Saints, Burrangong Oval. As well as the usual training and skills sessions, the Auskickers will be participating in several interclub carnival days throughout Term 2 and 3 to give them plenty of game time. As you all know very well the club had a bit of a break in the 2018 season due to player numbers, but we are very passionate about getting a side back on the paddock for the 2019 season. 11.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we inform our Saints family that 2017 player and much loved friend Ben Sharp lost his brave battle lastnight. Although his stay at the club was short, many friendships were formed and forever memories made. The club sends our deepest condolences to Bens children,family and loving partner. Soar like an Eagle as elegant as a SWAN my friend,till we meet again.

11.01.2022 AUSKICK IS BACK Please see below updates for the 2019 Auskick season. Any questions feel free to shoot us through a message and we'll get back to you ASAP.... 2019 Auskick Coordinators - If your club has not confirmed your 2019 Auskick Coordinator, please do so asap (preferably by the end of the month). It makes it so much easier to set each centre up for success if we have a coordinator confirmed that can act as the contact point for all enquiries and makes the centre look extremely organised and professional. If you need any assistance with this process, please get in touch with me. Once your coordinator is confirmed, please send their contact details through to me and I can assist with updating the Sports TG page to reflect the change. 2019 Registrations - Registrations are now open and we will be conducting our 12 Days of Christmas Campaign starting in early December - stay tuned for more information regarding this. If your club is currently not online with updated details I can help out with that - currently Cowra, Dubbo Juniors, Forbes, Mudgee and Young are not online. Please let me know if you wish to have it set up to start taking registrations for 2019. 2019 Auskick Education Workshop -With all Auskick Centres moving to the Auskick 2.0 structure, we will be having an Education Workshop in Orange on Sunday the 3rd February (currently 11am-1pm). Please encourage any interested program helpers (max 3-4 per centre) plus each Centre's Auskick Coordinator to attend so that you can learn all about Auskick from our State Auskick Team. 2019 Auskick Changes - Please see attached document regarding the structure of the Auskick Gala Days and the non-competitive Under 10s Competition. Please send through any feedback regarding this document by Friday 30th November. We will have a gala day schedule released with the Juniors fixture. I envisage that we will have 5-6 gala days during the season in various locations. Auskick Support Network - Will be introduced as soon as we have confirmed Auskick Coordinators at each centre and will have regular online catch-ups (30-40 min/month) to discuss upcoming gala days, challenges and positives from programs, etc.
