23.01.2022 Celebrating Bastille Day at Young Academics Early Learning Centre Penrith Last week was magnifique as we made crepes in honour of the national day of France. Our little ones took turns pouring, measuring, mashing and most excitedly of all tasting our oh so sweet crepes. We used bright, beautiful bananas in place of eggs to counter a few allergies, and this made a wonderful afternoon tea option for our excited little children (and educators).

22.01.2022 The children are currently learning about the difference between day and night. To make the experience even more fun, we made playdough the colour of the moon and used pebbles from our garden to make it more realistic with craters.

20.01.2022 Our little toddlers had some educational fun through a water sensory play activity, where they pretended to wash toy babies in a bubble bath. Involved in this activity, the educators were also able to have a discussion about hygiene and cleanliness.

02.01.2022 This week was the end Space Week, where the children were able to take part in different activities related to space, like this moon rocket experiment. Encouraging sustainability, the children also recycled the left over water from the experiment to make beautiful spray art, creating the night sky.
