23.01.2022 Today the children celebrated Reconciliation week and learning what it stands for. We looked at different aboriginal artworks and some of the cultural dances during special ceremonies. We discuss ways that we can also remember and celebrate the wonderful customs and cultures of the people that was the first Australians ... We learnt what colours were used in the artworks and how they were created by using the natural environment around them at the time before paint colours were invented... and with that we tried to create our own aboriginal painting! A Healing country comes from love and respect of the past, the present and creating a wonderful future together! Happy Reconciliation week 2021

21.01.2022 What a great adventure today! The children enjoyed their tour at one of Adelaide’s famous family bakery! Vilis The children were excited and was in awe of the hundreds of pies sitting in the pie racks to be cooked and hundreds of pies cooling down. Not to mention the smell of freshly baked pies and other wonderful products that Vili’s produces on a regular daily basis, we simply could not leave the bakery without trying it out at their very own cafe’ ... Thank you Vilis family bakery for making such a wonderful adventure a learning adventure for the children! The children gives their stamp of approval and a 5 star rating!!! Love it!!!

21.01.2022 Day 2! Today my friendly little grinches enjoyed making their Christmas tree craft... you guys are so adorable!!! Love it!!

18.01.2022 Like birds been released from a cage!! We flapped our wings and flew as fast as we could breathing the fresh air and enjoying a great fun filled day with our friends exploring the beauty of our blessed country!!! Staying safe and hope everyone is doing the same!!!

15.01.2022 Sitting back and watching these children interacting positively and using kind words with one another makes my heart go all silly and my work all worth it at the end of the day!!

15.01.2022 Day 4 - today we had silly Elves, cute Elves and creative elves that were busy creating and making Christmas wreaths and decorating Christmas cookies and picking and snacking on Christmas treats while filling up their reindeer treat box and of course don’t forget the Christmas card decorating!! So so so busy today!! Feeling the spirit of Christmas! Love it!!

11.01.2022 When a simple walk in the garden can be an inspiration to a Christmas magical craft! The children applied their math and thinking skills as they put this together... and with some help they were able to pull off a great craft to hang at home as memory for a Christmas in the year 2020!!

06.01.2022 This post is a little late! But we thought we would like to share the hard work that the children took to organise their special Mother’s Day gifts! They enjoyed working along side their friends and helping each other when one needed to be helped. The children picked the succulents that was in the garden and then enjoyed helping each other putting potting mix into their pots and planted the succulents into the pots. ... They also enjoyed doing hand prints to write their wonderful message about how much they love their mummies! The photo taking was the funny part as the children all pulled funny faces and enjoyed the photo session! What a great and wonderful group of children that are so proud of their mummies and we hope that their mummies will appreciate the love and effort they put into creating this Mother’s Day gift! Wishing all mother’s in the world a belated happy Mother’s Day!!!
