22.01.2022 Great meeting on Thursday night at Moon & Mountain. Our next meeting will be putting together packages for local charities to assist the homeless. If you would like to help us assist the community and also have a heap of fun PM us for more details. Always excited about new members!

22.01.2022 Fundraising for the Federation University Run for a Cause virtual event is in full swing! What are we fundraising for you ask? In a nutshell - improved liter...acy skills for the kids of Ballarat! We are fundraising for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program within Ballarat Reads. Did you know that some kids don’t have any children’s books at home? This program sends high quality and age appropriate books for free to kids aged 0-5 in Ballarat and surrounds. The research is clear - children who have access to books before they start school are more likely to succeed. See more

21.01.2022 Last night we donated 12 packages for Peplow House to use for people to have a head start when moving into a new home. This is part of our effort to assist locals facing homelessness. Thanks to Shepp Cannery Surplus in Howitt Street for donating goods, The Courier for the space to get organised and the members who helped put everything together.

14.01.2022 Young Ambition would like to encourage everyone to dig deep and donate to the Rotary National Bushfires Appeal,. Our hearts goes out to all people affected by the bushfires and our club will be making donations today. For anyone who would like to donate please see below details otherwise contact our club president, Jane Jens for more details.

14.01.2022 With donations still coming in from our recent winter appeal, we were able to assist a young homeless couple with their transition into some warmer accommodation this week. Thanks for keeping those donations coming; it’s great to know we can directly help those in desperate need.

11.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who helped with our fundraising event at Springfest on Sunday. Congratulations to the organisers and other wonderful stall holders. We were very busy with over 500 shots at the hole in one taken across the day. Special thanks to Ballarat Land Rover, Ballarat Grammar and Golf City for helping to make the day possible. Money raised will go towards our current major project the 'Food is Free Shed' here in Ballarat. See you at our next event!!

09.01.2022 Come down to The Rotary Shed in Burnbank Street to drop off any winter supplies for local charities. An amazing lady has just dropped off some beautiful knitted beanies and scarves. Thank you! We’re here till 12pm.

05.01.2022 A massive THANK YOU to the generous people who donated to our Winter Appeal today. We received hundreds of donations, which was fantastic We’ve passed them onto some grateful recipients and others are on their way to our welfare agencies this week. Below are just some of the donations we received. An extra big THANK YOU to those who went out of their way to buy beanies and socks to donate, while others knitted beanies and scarves. You are AMAZING and your efforts will help keep our most disadvantaged that bit warmer over the coming months

04.01.2022 TOOLS FOR SCHOOLS IS BACK For the past couple of years Eureka Mums have been helping families reduce the stress of returning or starting the school ye...ar with our Tools for Schools bundles. Parents are now thinking about all the items they need for the new school year. For children it is an exciting time returning to catch up with friends, or for many the anticipation of their first day in Foundation. This should be a happy time for all the family! With your support last year, we assisted over 140 students start the year with the basic essentials, as well as other stationary items that allowed them to start the year just like every other student. Our Annual Tools for Schools campaign is now underway and we are asking for your support. We are asking for donations of the following NEW items: Back Packs Lunch Boxes Drink Bottles Cooler Bags Library Bags Coloured Pencils Pencil Cases Scissors Rulers Erasers Glue Exercise/Scrap Books We will be open for our first collection shift for 2020 on Monday 13th January between 10am - 12pm. At the Cnr of Spencer and Gray St Sebastapol. We know that many of you support this campaign and we truely appreciate the support, you help make such a difference to the lives and education of these children.

04.01.2022 Young Ambition Ballarat would like to thank all our members and our friends in the Philippines for making this project a success. We would like to raise more money so we can go back and give care packages to the little babies and toddlers we met who desperately need milk, food and nappies! 02.01.2022 It was great to go and watch Ballarat High Year 12 student Emily Patterson win the inaugural Young Amition Award for Community Service on Tuesday night. Members Blaise Newnham, Matt Wiltshire and Dominc Morrison presented Emily with a $1,000 prize for her contribuiton to the school in 2018. Congratulations Emily on your great achievement!
