24.01.2022 It can get very expensive to buy Lego engineering sets for just one child. Also the learning curve is steep and if parents dont have time the child will not use this much. It is more beneficial to attend young engineers classes/ workshops so your child can get the most out of these Lego engineering sets.

22.01.2022 Amazing day 1 of summer holiday workshops! We explored engineering in dangerous situations. Children made a commando crawling robot and battle tank robot using Lego. We also worked on design thinking by making our own catapults and testing how far they could shoot. Best part of the day was rescue races - where children had to design their own stretcher. They then raced to rescue the sick mr. potato by assembling the stretcher too!

18.01.2022 What was happening in our young engineers classes at South Melbourne Primary this week? Youngest engineers made a ship and learned about energy behind ship movement, grade1/grade 2 made a carousel to learn about centrifugal forces, grade 3/grade4 made a dancing robot and grade 4-grade6 students used Lego mindstorm engines to make an artificial hand!!
