11.01.2022 Thank you to the students & teachers at these schools for giving us the opportunity to present our engineering incursions. Harrisdale Primary, St Munchins Primary, Ashburton Drive Primary, North Balga Primary, Warriapendi Primary, Westminster Primary & Brookman Primary. Thank you to the awesome teachers who gave us constructive feedback. We love the encouragement. We love your suggestions on how to improve even more.... >> The students thoroughly enjoyed building something that was achievable in the hour session. They loved that it had a battery and the conveyor belt worked. The kits are easy to use and it was great there was 1 kit between 2 students. The students were engaged at all times and worked well together. Even though some students did not get to complete the conveyor belt in full, they were happy as the completed most of it. The teaching staff were friendly and had a lot of patience with the students, helping them step by step. >> Very well organised, easy to follow instructions, checking process after each part of the build is effective, students thoroughly enjoyed the lesson. >> I am giving this incursion 5 stars. The only suggestion I would make would be to allow more time for the students to create more things - but schools are time poor and that's a reflection on us, not on the incursion conducted.

10.01.2022 How do you get a weak Lego motor to lift 10 Kg? Add some engineering ingenuity by using a gear transmission system! This is what our students learn.

02.01.2022 Since 2015, we've delivered our weekly after-school programs at more than 300 primary schools throughout Australia, giving thousands of students the opportunity to experience a unique blend of experiential learning and hands-on fun that is truly inspiring. The sad reality is that many more students have missed out because our after-school classes have very limited numbers or they don't attend a school that hosts a Young Engineers after-school club. In January 2021, we're changing all that. We're making Young Engineers more accessible than ever by delivering school holidays workshops throughout Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Perth that is open to any student from Year 1 - Year 7. Bookmark www.engineeringcamp.com.au to get all the latest pre-launch info & exclusive 10% discount coupon.
