Great Northern 6 packs- bucket & ice $24 Complementary BBQ provided at the conclusion of the match. The prize pool = $1200 $40 holes- 1 2 3 4 5 6 $60 holes- 7 8 9 10 11 12 $80 holes- 13 14 15 16 17 18 Hole 7 NTP- $60 Hole 17 NTP- $60 The final rules are very simple for the official score, as listed below: The final is played off the universal match play index which is on the score sheet. The lowest marker goes back to scratch and the other finalists come down the same amount. The scratch marker will not receive any shots but the others will according to their handicap and the match play index. Each hole has a dollar value which the players will play for. If 2 or more players square the hole the prize money will jackpot to the next hole until won outright. There is 2 closest the pins (one on the front 9 and one on the back 9) as marked on the final score sheet. If none of the finalist land on the green from the tee the $60 prize will be split between the 4 finalists. If the final hole is squared the value of the last hole is split between the 4 finalists. The match handicaps to be used will be finalized on Sunday morning. James French is currently off 4. James will go to scratch and the other players will have their handicaps reduced by 4 shots (that may change depending on James’ handicap on Sunday) COVID sign-in update: Paper sign in is being phased out. Second place went to Mick Slater on 40 points on a countback from Simon Oakes. There were 100 players and balls went to 33 points on a countback. The Friday 9 hole competition was won by Paul Levett with 20 points on a countback. The Friday 18 hole medley stableford was won by Ron Flynn with 37 points. Second was Swayde Honeman with 36 points on a countback from Cameron Jones and Mark Sheridan. Balls went to 30 points on a countback. The Kyle McGovern Electrical medley was won by James French with 38 points. The Sam Woods Hilltops Regional Security secret birdie hole was the 2nd and the $30 jackpot was won by James Haining (visitor). Next Sunday the jackpot will reset to $30. The Social Club 14 hole event was washed out by the rain. The Business House competition will start again from Monday 25th January 2021. The entry fee of $250 covers a team of 8 players and will run for 10 weeks. Entries can be made at the Pro Shop.
