25.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: To the YoungGun family. Given the latest advice from the Premier that all non essential services will be shutdown, unfortunately we have no choice but to shut YoungGun Cricket and GlowZone.... All coaching sessions and services are cancelled effective immediately. For clients that have outstanding sessions as part of high performance packages these will absolutely be honoured and outstanding sessions will take place when we are free to operate in the future. On behalf of myself and all the staff I wanted to say thank you for your amazing support in what it is an unprecedented and difficult time for all of us. We have faced adversity before and will again. But like the game we all love, you learn more often in defeat than you do in victory. But ultimately the lessons learnt will play a role in success. The response messages sent on Friday was incredibly uplifting to know how many of you were willing to keep supporting the business and evidence of the relationship we have with you and your children. Unfortunately this thing is bigger than us all at this time. We will await further advice and notifications from Government etc as to when we may all resume some normality. And while this will provide some significant challenges to the business and our operations we are determined to return bigger and better than before and continue to help develop young cricketers in the hope they can one day live their dreams. Right now we all need to follow direction and protect and love those closest to us while we all seek shelter from the storm. Thank you once again for your support and Im sorry it has come to this but we will all be back and cricket will again one day be the winner. Take care of yourselves and those around you. Be safe. For 7 Australians the past 7 days were filled with love, laughter and learning.... Friendships were formed, never to be repeated experiences enjoyed and people Met who remind us all that life when lived right should be all about enjoying the simple pleasures and being incredibly thankful for what we have. Late in the trip, the boys are not only dealing with the foreign conditions which they have acclimatised to well but also the mental battle of executing skills under fatigue and being physically and mentally drained. 21.01.2022 In the true tradition of never quite knowing what youll find in India when you are on the adventure of a lifetime. Today the YoungGun High Performance Tourists were joined by two special guests at their training session at Islam Gymkhana Mumbai. Michael Vaughan and Son Archie joined us for a hit.... Huge thanks to Michael who was only too happy to share his knowledge and passion for the game with players from Australia and the UK. He took a genuine interest in each and every one of the players and the coaching staff and was as humble and genuine a cricket person Ive been fortunate enough to meet. Another amazing experience for a group of young and not so young cricket lovers. Young Archie is a very handy player as well and looks likely to forge a career like his Father. Another money cant buy experience enjoyed by the YoungGun tourists who are enjoying everything India and Mumbai has to offer. 13.01.2022 Have found the destination for the 2020 YoungGun Tour to India. Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and the facilities at the HPCA are world class. This place is Heaven on Earth for cricketers.... Amazing facilities featuring indoor and outdoor training set up, gym, class room, pool for recovery, An International Ground that has to be seen to be believed, and all set in one of the most amazing places I have ever been. It really is cricket Nirvana. There is even accomodation at the ground overlooking the ground with a backdrop that words dont do justice. We are staying at the Pavillion which is Ali owned and built by the HP Cricket Association while the ground accomodation is being renovated. Just when you thought our Indian Tours couldnt get any better. This place is simply outstanding on every level. And in April 2020 we will be bringing young (and potentially not so young) Australians here for the next trip of a lifetime. Also a special thanks to my friend Vikram Rathour who gave Huntah and I a very special tour. Its not every day you get to stand in the middle of an international ground with a guy who has played test cricket for India who is also the Director of Cricket at HPCA. 11.01.2022 To the YoungGun Family, I know there are people out there who are much worse off than me and been impacted by Covid-19 more significantly but being forced to close your business and losing 100% of revenue was difficult. I watched as some people threw random content online and thought zoom interviews was the best way to let young cricketers navigate their path without any guidance.... I chose a different path. With the help of two incredible Coaches in their own right we have created a revolutionary approach to cricket coaching that will change the industry and the relationships between Players and Coaches. As I did once before when I built a world class cricket facility in Melbourne, and gave birth to every new cricket centre since being called a "high performance" training facility I honestly believe this will change the game and is the most exciting thing I have been involved with. So to the many people who sent me messages of support and told me how big an influence the business had on their kids and young adults I say thank you. The first phone call came in 90 seconds after our announcement that we were reopening and both the landline and our mobiles haven't stopped for 4 hours which to be honest was overwhelming. And for those of us cricket lovers, the last 3 months have been even more uncertain with mass lay offs at Cricket Victoria and grass roots and representatives programs disappearing overnight. Please know that for those of us who devote our lives to the game and eat, sleep and breath it 24/7 and it is our profession, we are determined to fill the void and give every young cricketer the chance to follow and ultimately live their dream. It's great to be able to do what I love again and I have devoted so much of my life to doing. Thanks for keeping the faith and rest assured YoungGun Cricket is back better than ever. 11.01.2022 Its not about disadvantaging Landlords. Its about many of us who have lost their businesses finding a way to rebuild our businesses and being able to reopen a...nd pay rent in the future. The stimulus packages and rescue packages while helpful will take months to kick in. Many people like me have lost 100% of their revenue and still have employees who rely on us and rent due. Its just common sense. A genius friend of mine just came up with a solution that every commercial Landlord who has been paid a security deposit uses that as a rental income and then over time us commercial tenants reimburse and reinstate the security bond. There are ways to ease the burden of what in many businesses cases is their biggest overhead and biggest financial burden. Banks freeze mortgage repayments - Landlords freeze rent. Its not rocket science.

10.01.2022 Wednesday 8th July 2020 was a bittersweet one. Today consisted of 30 1-1 coaching sessions. Shannon, Chris and Sam grinded throughout the day and were joined later by 2 newer members of the coaching team (stay tuned for more on that). But unfortunately there is something much bigger at play and in line with statewide restrictions we must once again close our doors for 6 weeks.... 10.01.2022 Hello Again YoungGuns from Mumbai Apologies for delay in updating Day 3s adventures but its difficult to find the time to post when there is one epic adventure after another. After playing our first game on Indian soil where all the boys had an opportunity to bat, bowl and field in Indian conditions, we were back to the Hotel and a quick changeover before we headed to the IPL.... Watching the IPL live with 40,000 fanatical Indians is something I have had the pleasure of doing more than once. But for the rest of the group it was another unique memorable experience. The fact that the gamed turned into one of the greatest matches in the IPLs 12 year history was just icing on the cake and dither reinforced just how unforgettable some opportunities are that we get. I watched 7 other Australians sit in awe at the sheer exuberance and passion that is Indian cricket when they feel engaged and connected with their idols. I also got my own moment of simple joy watching a Father and Son share a bucket moment experience with each other and continue to form a bond that will be forever populated with that moment and experience. Having shared the exact same moment with my daughter I fully understand the significance. The tourists are all up and about and exploring a world of wonder that requires sone resilience and contemplation and s fair bit of mental and physical strength. We are tired after a gruelling schedule but every day is greeted with energy and smiles and a determination to get on the front foot and take in all that this magnificent Country and City have to offer each day. I have plenty of photos and videos which will be added here shortly. Day 3 will be hard to top, but I have a feeling the best is yet to come. 04.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE To the YoungGun family. Unfortunately given the most recent announcement regarding the return to Stage 3 lockdown in Metropolitan Melbourne, we have once again been forced to close our doors as of 11:59PM Wednesday 8th July.... The response to our re-opening was incredible, in the past 2 and a half weeks alone we have done over 150 1-1 sessions. In addition, the application rates for our PCP programme were also unbelievable. We can promise you that we still intend these programmes to go ahead once we are again allowed to return to work and the game we all love. In the meantime, please stay tuned to our social media and website as to some incredible game changing opportunities that we have coming. We once again thank you all so much for the support.
