25.01.2022 The last few weeks of the year can be challenging for most of us, but this year was just notably and objectively hard. The question we may be asking this time of year is, How can we get through? Tune in to last week’s Ask a Coach as Kate shares insightful tips on managing workload and expectations to stay motivated and productive for the few remaining weeks of 2020. https://www.facebook.com/540720228/videos/10159273672960229/
24.01.2022 The events of 2020 have turned workplaces upside down. Challenges to gender equity continues to rise and women in particular have been negatively impacted. Women were more likely to have been laid off during the crisis or opt out to attend to childcare, which is stalling their careers and jeopardising their financial security. Throughout this time, Fiona and I have been reflecting on how we progress the Gender Balance conversation in 2021 and we will be sharing this for the first time publicly in a dynamic and interactive webinar The Illusion Delusion: Practical insights for addressing the barriers to gender equity in your organisation. 23.01.2022 So much gold in last week’s YPWA Masterclass with Dr. Sharna Wiblen, a scholar and executive educator within the Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong in Sydney. A few highlights from my notes on this session include: - Decisions and choices - decisions are yours for the taking. Choices are options others have decided for you. Challenge the choices that have been created and create other possibilities. - A line is a series of dots joined together and life is a sequ...ence of decisions taken everyday which together, will define the direction of our line (& life). - Allocate your time, energy and attention with intention - eliminate delegate, infomate and automate (a must!) 21.01.2022 Have you ever walked out of a meeting and continued the conversation with yourself in your head. 19.01.2022 Loved our session last week on Reset How You Think & Act with YPWA Community expert Dr. Sharna Wiblen. So many great tips and insights which included reminding people to focus on the everyday rather than the someday. Lots of opportunity to really look at what you can do to make some changes in your life. It’s not about getting it perfect but rather every step is a step towards progress. Watch the recording of the session streamed live into the YPWA member only FB Group https://www.ypwamembers.com.au/reset-how-you-think-act/

16.01.2022 So much gold from this week's masterclass, Goal Driver Blueprint, with our amazing guest, Keith Abraham. He believes that life is made up of four parts, things that you... 1. Love to do 2. Like to do 3. Have to do... 4. Hate to do "If you have nothing in the first two areas, and your life is consumed with things you have to do and hate to do, your life is crappy." - Keith Abraham Tune in and hear more on how you can start planning for 2021 by getting clear on what you want in career and life and putting in place a plan to get there: https://web.facebook.com/youngprofessionalwomenaustralia/videos/418238366019763
16.01.2022 Women are twice as likely than men to be told they need to display more confidence to progress. We also hear many senior women declare, behind closed doors, that even though others would say they look and sound confident. inside they don’t feel confident at all. Put your relationship with confidence under the spotlight and develop sustainable strategies to stay connected to your Core Confidence in our FREE 10-Day Confidence Challenge. 16.01.2022 Inner Critic or Inner Cheerleader? Friend or Foe? That voice in your head, that seems to get louder and louder the more time and attention you pay it. The voice that seems to consume soooo much time and energy no matter what you do to try and quieten her down.... The challenge with your inner voice is that it has a tendency to amplify the negative and minimise (or forget) the positive, leading you down a pathway that limits your perspective and tears down your confidence. Most of the time, these stories are way off the reality of what has actually happened in the ‘live’ version of events and because of this has the potential to derail us for days, weeks and sometimes months. Tune into last week's CC FB live where Fiona and Kate explore what’s really going on when it comes to that voice in your head and how to start to redefine your relationship with this inner critic: http://ow.ly/29lM50BzEhJ

08.01.2022 The labels we use and others tell us can mean we end up believing that we’re either confident or we’re not. Believing you’re not confident can be a very good reason for not exploring your relationship with confidence Kate and Fiona challenge that belief, as it is often getting in the way of living your potential. Watch last week's FB live here: http://ow.ly/Vocs50BxnUX
08.01.2022 Ever walked out of an interview, felt like you had fallen flat on your face, only to be invited back for a 2nd interview or even better, been offered the job? That moment of celebration sweet victory, the moments leading up to that not so much! The moments, hours (possibly days!) where you ruminated on all the things you said, perhaps didn’t say and all the things you should have done differently if you had your time over. You know, that inner voice that seems to feed on th...e negative getting louder and louder and slamming you more and more with every minute of attention you pay it. While this voice is always trying to protect us, most of the time it feels like it is just tearing us down and making us feel like crap! Tune into our latest CC FB live where Fiona and Kate explore what’s really going on when it comes to that voice in your head and how to start to redefine your relationship with this inner critic: http://ow.ly/DUYi50BzEfz

Tune in for insights on how to sustain high-performance as 2020 comes to an end. https://www.facebook.com/540720228/videos/10159273672960229/

I am so ready for myself after reading this book!". To join us tag yourself in the post in the FB Group, grab yourself a copy of the book and get reading!
