This has been a key part of Hannah’s program. ... Working a physically demanding job and constantly giving her energy to others, it’s amazing she finds any left to conquer some serous milage in her trail runs, which is her passion. However, not appropriately managing blocks of work with deliberate periods of recovery inevitably leads to underperformance, physical, cognitive and emotional fatigue and eventually burnout. Through awareness and being more deliberate about when to push and when to pull back, Han not only thrives in giving back to her own clients, but has enough in the tank to hit an 8:00 best on her half marathon! 15.01.2022 Training with the intent to build muscle is an extremely difficult and unnatural (biologically), endeavour. It requires extreme discipline, consistency and precision within behaviours, exercise and nutrition to attain muscle hypertrophy. If starting down that road, I highly recommend working with a coach or professional to help guide you and give you the tools to create autonomy within your health and fitness goals.... If you’re starting to play around with hypertrophy or bodybuilding styled training, here are some fundamental behaviours to ‘do more of’ and ‘do less of’.
