25.01.2022 Agh!! I have been on the phone to my internet provider the last couple of hours, however my internet is down and could be down for the next 24 hours I will be trying to get back up and running ASAP however I will need to respond to emails from my phone. There might be a bit of a delay in responses, galleries and emails but trying my best!... Alanna X

23.01.2022 Just over here quietly having a heart attack as I am without the internet and trying to run 2 businesses But then there’s this guy that makes it all better I sincerely apologize if you are awaiting images, printed orders or galleries to be sent. ... I feel like I’ve lost my right arm... which also makes me sad at how accustom I have come to relying on the internet Because of this there will be a slight delay on galleries and orders. This is totally out of my hands I’m hoping to go over to my parents to try and get some work done using their internet but this will still mean a delay as I am down 1.5 days of working already. Hoping it is fixed and ready for everything to be sent next week! Thankyou so much for your patience! Alanna X

22.01.2022 Ok look....I don't have favourites when I do my job BUT....This child was probably the cutest I have ever seen Also the hairiest! This is the adorable Remi and his Muma, Britt. Britt is the beautiful Director of St Nicholas Early Education Maitland. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph this pair together

20.01.2022 This week I am out at St Nicholas Early Education and it holds a special spot for me and my family. This is my sons amazing preschool and we just love everything about it! We ADORE our little centre!! What a fun morning with all these little munchigans and I can not wait to get back into it all again tomorrow

18.01.2022 This week I am out at St Nicholas Early Education Newcastle and St Nicholas Early Education Raymond Terrace!!! Its going to be an insanely busy week (I have 4 preschools to photograph in the next 9 days ) but it goes sooo fast when you have cuties like these!!

12.01.2022 I am working around the clock trying to have all your images ready for Christmas I have 4 preschools to photograph in the next 2 weeks and then I am finished for the year!! If you wish to gift a photo of your cuties to grandparents/Aunts/Uncles/Preschool teachers...whom ever it is. The BEST option is to select the digital files! This means once you have purchased the files, your gallery will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours and then you can print your photos INSTANTLY!! ... Any printed orders placed from now, will be delivered back to your preschool by the 18th December. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email: [email protected] Alanna *Side note: All Montessori Academy families for Newcastle and Greenhills. I am photographing both preschools from 7th-11th Dec however I can not guarantee these will be delivered by Xmas. As I am squeezing both centres in so late in the year, I am already under the pump. I will try my hardest but there is a high possibility they will be delivered in the new year!! BUT at least there will be memories for all your children for the year 2020 and you won't miss out THANKYOU!!

12.01.2022 So after an abrupt end to my year with having to cancel my last 2 preschools for next week ( my little boy is very unwell, I have been unwell and I have a tonne of orders to process while I have him home from daycare) That makes it officially my last day photographing preschools for 2020! Holy smokes! I can't believe I managed to squeeze in a whole year and then some in the second half of this year! CRAZY!! Thankyou to all the preschools and daycares that have had me capture... your little cherubs this year! It sure has been one for the history books that's for sure. And to all the parents, I hope you have loved your moments I have captured of your little ones during their time at preschool! I absolutely love what I do and I hope you see this in the images you receive :) I will share some more images from this year in the coming weeks, once I have sent off the remaining galleries for the last 4 centres I have just photographed! I hope you all have a wonderful couple of weeks in the lead up to Christams! Alanna x

07.01.2022 Colour OR B+W? I have such a love affair with bright colours but on the right photo I prefer a good black and white. What do you prefer? Over time I have found that because these are preschool photos and most love to gift them to grandparents, majority of all parents just want colour. BUT I love when I get the odd order with a blown up image in black and white This week I am out in Maitland Bright Beginnings. Then I am at St Nicks Newcastle & St Nicks Raymond terrace next ...week then the week after I am at Newcastle & Greenhills Montessori Academy AND then I am signing off for 4-5 months!!!! The second half of this year I will have squeezed an entire years worth of work into. And now I am starting to feel it What a crazyyyyy year for so many small businesses. For me with having to close, then reopen and to then make sure I could fit in as many centres as I could (and sadly turn away about 12). However...I am so ready for a break! Capturing preschool photos is more then just...sit, smile, don't cry and move on. I love to take time with each child/family to capture the moment they are in. I don't rush kids, I don't make them do things they don't want to. I just capture what it is they are doing, laughing about and looking cute doing and I hope you all see this when you open your photo galleries. This year I have created more work for myself by giving you all a huge gallery of more then 20/30/50 and even 100 images for families. BUT they all tell a story and I wanted you to be able to see this in your photos. Thankyou for supporting small and local... Thankyou for supporting my own little business Alanna x

07.01.2022 This week I am out at 2 different centres as COVID has me chasing my tail! I am actually at 2 centres each week now until I wrap up for the year in early December. This is not usual as I always only photograph one a week, but COVID times got everyone good. Remember to please bear with me as I am only one person who does everything solo for this little business. I am only a message away but sometimes the response isn't always instant. However will always get back to you regarding your questions or concerns as soon as I can- Alanna

05.01.2022 This week I am out at the brand NEW St Nicholas Early Education in Maitland!! What an absolutely gorgeous centre!! My little guy attends one of the St Nicks so I always have a soft spot for them....But this centre is next level! If you live in Maitland and need a long daycare, definitely check these guys out!

02.01.2022 This time of the year is absolutely crazy.. if I’m going to be honest, it makes me want to chose a different career. Even more so now that I have my own family. I currently am working literally every second of my days...I will be pulling an all nighter again tonight. I run 2 photography businesses (family/birth/newborn etc for one and Preschool photographer as another). ... The amount of work, emails, galleries, editing, packing orders, sending orders etc is beyond anything I can comprehend at the moment and I feel as if I am drowning- a good cry is needed at times I sometimes question why I do this as a job around about this time of year... especially now when my son is unwell. I love what I create for all families but COVID has just been horrendous and I’ve worked a whole year in under 6 months x 2 businesses So please please before you email or message, just remember I am only one person and I promise I am getting to everything ASAP. My list is just gigantic and I want to get it all to you as quick as I can. Christmas is suppose to be such a magical time but the stress of everything gets to me so I just ask for patience please I can’t wait to send out all remaining galleries! After this year (and the end of the next lot of sunflowers have finished..) I will be taking 4-5 months off to recharge my batteries. I am so looking forward to spending time with my family Again I thankyou all so much for supporting my small businesses, it means the world to me and my family! Alanna X
