25.01.2022 In keeping with the spring sun shining today we went to the #beach in my last online #kidsyoga class (for now!) with @radiantsolyoga. We went surfing and fishing and spied quite a few creatures, including a mermaid oh la la! Got me wanting to go to the actual beach Yoga outdoors will be fun.... Maybe a few kids classes in the botanical gardens this summer when we can gather again ?! I really miss the fun & connection of teaching the #youngyogis face to face

24.01.2022 Today’s online kinder #kidsyoga class was a #farmyard trip in the rain Too squishy to do inside with kids homeschooling so I just had to grin and bare it was actually quite fun! Luckily laptop was still working afterwards Join me next week for this class at 1pm on thurs 7th May from the comfort of your cosy warm home (& a different ‘Autumn’ class on Friday 8th May at 11am): https://onlineincursions.com.au/product/young-yogis/

24.01.2022 Trialing out outfits for my next kids yoga online incursion on Thursday at 11am. This is actually Rosies #bunny costume, but I think I can get away with it...What do you think?! As long as it’s not too hot and I can do #bunnyhops in it, I should be good to go go go #Easteryoga #kidsyoga #onlineincursions #youngyogis Book via the link: https://onlineincursions.com.au/product/young-yogis/

24.01.2022 Stretching out with these tremendous #treesat a donation #yoga class for the bushfires this morning. We are all connected. We are one with #nature. To heal Mother Earth we need to heal ourselves. As we grow, so shall she #regrowth #yogainnature

24.01.2022 #Pyjama #yoga first thing in my #youngyogis ‘studio’ with the fabulous @duncanyoga (complete with bed head hair!)... quite enjoying this lazy new way of being. I showered at 8pm this eve. Ready for my Skype call with the girls. What day is it again?! Now time for Sleep & Repeat

23.01.2022 Guess the letter we’re ‘trying’ to form with our bodies?! (Clue: Why don’t U?...) #partneryoga #familyyoga #familyfun #kidsyoga #rainbowyoga @ Abbotsford Convent

21.01.2022 How did you celebrate #EarthDay last week? We did a nature walk and then crafted with the treasures we found followed by some #Yoga I’d love to share this Earth Day Yoga class with your #YoungYogis on Tues 28th April @ 1pm. The perfect time for your littlest homeschoolers to join in after lunch & refocus before the afternoons learnings & play! Book in via the link below (bring a pebble/stone/rock or crystal for a soothing meditation at the end). Namaste ... https://onlineincursions.com.au/product/young-yogis/

20.01.2022 ‘See you later alligator, after a while #crocodile , bye bye, #butterfly, see you again next time!’ We’ve been going on desert adventures during our kids yoga classes this month. These are two of the favourite animal poses so far. Perfect for babies, toddlers and kindy kids alike. Butterfly opens up the hips where we store a lot of emotions and crocodile the spine, the ‘backbone’ of #yoga. I use a combination of song, dance, mindful movement and breathwork / meditation in m...y kinder classes and lots of sensory stuff for the really little ones (I teach from 6 months upwards!). Toys / teddies also come in handy as visual stimuli for the super young, whose understanding / language skills are still limited. I love what I do and thank my lucky stars each day that this is my ‘job’ (albeit tiring at times, especially after a 5 hr teaching day like today, mainly made up of 15 minute back to back segments... but working with kids also energises me, we can learn so much from them). Never give up on your dreams, anything is possible if you want it enough (I used to work corporate / retail but having kids changed all that!!) #liveyourpurpose See more

20.01.2022 #Halfmoonpose following the recent new moon a time for setting intentions for the next month and beyond. This pose opens my heart and brings me strength, balance, and resilience. Much needed right now. I’m committing more then ever to my self care routine during these uncertain times. We need a strong internal foundation to be able to weather the storms in the outside world. And it’s a bit cliche but we really do need to put on our own mask first before we put on those of others #yoga #selfcare #rituals #routine #selflove

20.01.2022 Amazing alternative to a #partybag at today’s 5th birthday party #plantpot with #seeds to sprout throughout the year as our own little preppie #seedlings grown and blossom at school #eco and #emo

20.01.2022 Back to teaching online kinder classes after a two week break whilst I moved house! We did #seasons #yoga today focussing on winter (as we enter next week!) and animals that hibernate It was fun and spacious in my beautiful new abode (rather than shivering doing it outside in the cold). My online yoga incursions have paused until School hols, now kids have returned, but watch this space...

19.01.2022 Last chance today to reserve your child's place in our school holiday program happening in The Joy Space this Wednesday 15th January The amazing Jennifer Karlich and I can't wait to invite the children to discover their inner rainbows through this wonderful offering https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/school-holiday-workshops-in

19.01.2022 I was supposed to run my Easter #Bunny #kidsyoga class again at the beginning of the week but it’ll just have to wait until next year for that one now! Young Yogis online classes on hold till further notice... but I’ll be back! All in Devine timing

19.01.2022 Seeing as we can’t go far earthside right now (#returntolockdown), I decided to take my Young Yogis on a journey to outer space today. We ‘zoom zoom zoomed to the moon’ past the ‘twinkle twinkle little stars’ and then ‘touched the sunshine’ before landing to moon dune surf to greet Alan the alien with a hug (hugs are allowed in space, no CV there!)... certainly a highlight of my week #youngyogis #kidsyoga #spaceyoga

18.01.2022 Presenting new #YoungYogis online #yogastudio ready for filming new #kidsyoga classes for bupa and @radiantsolyoga this week

15.01.2022 Rosie joined me for a 75 min online kundalini yoga class this morning (not for the faint hearted) and then did a 40 min online gym class! So proud of my little kitty #catcowpose @sadhanastudios is offering free online #kundaliniyoga this weekend if you want to try

15.01.2022 Morning all! I’m working on setting up online kids yoga classes (got a great response when I posted in a local group yesterday) with my marvellous friend and mummy mentor Marilou Coombe (check out the link to her new business program in comments below). I’m a technophobe so just need to get over those fears first .... doing my first kinder zoom class today . In the meantime, if anyone wants to practise yoga at home with their family, I sell these kids yoga cards and poster, normally for $25, but I’m selling for $22 for both (11) at the moment. So you can start your practise now!! I’m happy to deliver to you for free of course if you’re local or for whatever the standard shipping cost is if not. Sending love strength and light to you all to get through this challenging time. Namaste

15.01.2022 The world can certainly seem a little topsy turvy right now Which is why we have 3 daily non negotiable to keep us somewhat levelheaded: yoga & meditation / movement / dance nature time gratitudes. (Oh and for me using my healy frequency device would be a 4th). What are you doing daily stay sane?

15.01.2022 One big breath can change everything. One big breath can help a child relax, mentally and physically. There are so many positive values to gain from Yoga. Young Yogis (ages 3-8 yrs) can join me in fun online yoga sessions from next week - no previous yoga experience is required but you must come with a willingness to have fun! My first incursion is on Monday - a great way to start the week!... and I’ll be doing a special Ea...ster class on Thursday, both at 11am... 14.01.2022 Waking them up from #shavasana, my favourite part of #yogafor one final #namaste #ibowtoyou #youngyogis #yogabean #racvaustraliadayfestival #kidsyoga

13.01.2022 I’m the third week into my online #kidsyoga sessions for BUPA and loving it. Testimonials like this are my why Just wanted to pass on some feedback about the kids yoga session. My daughter participated last week and this week, and she absolutely loved it! Both times she’s come back to me, with a big beaming smile. She said that she loves the props Claire uses and loves how accepting (her words!) she is Remote learning 2.0 has certainly been a challenge, and the last couple of weeks we’re feeling the burnout kick in so the yoga sessions have been perfectly timed. Tilly can’t wait for next week!

13.01.2022 My young yogis have been creative with the poses this week. It’s desert themed #yoga and this is ‘#lizard holding its tail, so that it falls off and grows a new one, as the old one had an ‘ouchy’ We all have ‘ouchies’ and need to shed layers in order to allow healing and regrowth. So I liked the analogy. And the fact they knew this fact. I certainly didn’t at their age, although I guess we had fewer lizards in England than in Oz ;) #peelingawaythelayers #yogaisametaphorforlife

13.01.2022 Don’t forget to #move during this isolation period, as changing your physiology is the fastest way to change how you feel... For the better! ‘Move your body, move your mood’ is the message I give in my kids yoga classes and I’ll soon be launching these via an ‘online incursion’ platform which will be offering a whole host of #kids classes from #yoga to languages to music to sports... even to fire safety... the list is growing! Watch this space for more info. Launching next week

12.01.2022 Ready to go with my first of 5 #kidsyoga classes at the #racvaustraloadayfestival. Come down and say #namaste #yogabean

11.01.2022 Hanging with these beauties for #discoyoga then #animalflow with the super talented @deeppanthers at #stkildafestival. What a great way to kick off the day, what a contrast between the two styles #balance #yoga #yinyang

11.01.2022 Tonight’s #kirtan marked the perfect end to our weeklong #bhaktiyoga course with the amazing @heiditrigar. My heart feels so full and it really reiterated that true connection can certainly still be found in these isolating times. We are never alone as we can call upon and invoke the deities using #mantra & #japa whenever we feel called and I shall continue to chant in their honour daily. Thank you Heidi, your teachings and music are such gifts Miss you snd our #bhakti gang already harmonium

10.01.2022 Can’t go very far here in Melbs right now, but that doesn’t stop me going on journeys in my #kidsyoga classes. We flew to Africa in a helicopter today to meet lots of safari animals for my second to last online class at @radiantsolyoga studio for now... as school hols are ending and primary schools are re opening soon

10.01.2022 Happy Capricorn #fullmoon ... another opportunity to release and let go of what no longer serves you and what better way to do it than with some #yoga #moonpose #starseedchild @ Melbourne Museum

08.01.2022 Guess the #partneryoga pose? #kidsyoga #familyyoga #rainbowyoga #connection

07.01.2022 We’ve decided to do story time with grandma and grandad England every night that kids are with me, so we can feel more connected to family during these isolation times. Connection is a basic human need/right and whilst that right has largely been taken away from us in person right now, we thankfully still have technology to help! #storytime #yogatime

07.01.2022 My only face to face #kidsyoga class this week #jungleyoga with a corona virus spin... we did some serious yogi hand washing and coughed into our elbow (think ‘the Dab’ move) before we got on the plane to fly there though ;) Here we have a frisky frog, two dancing flamingos and a tropical tree Only 2 students turned up when there’s normally 10, good job my own kids came along for the fun Running my first zoom live kinder class tomorrow and be hopefully be going online with classes soon with the amazing aid of marvellous @mariloucoombe. Check out this super good value program she’s running to help mums set up their own businesses. Never better a time to do it than now!! https://orchestratecoachingandconsulting.as.me/newbiz

06.01.2022 Taught my first kinder yoga class in a week today... all about the changing colours & weather of #autumn and the mix of #emotions we’re feeling right now... (#rainbows and #teddybears aptly thrown in!)... all from the Monash hospital playroom. Oh and it looks like we’re due to go home tomorrow if things continue as they are. Winning #thecolourofhappy

06.01.2022 Sat in my #massagechair (recently gifted to me by a dear friend) watching the neighbours omnibus (my guilty pleasure since a school girl). It’s the simple things...

05.01.2022 Giving Rosie an unconventional #backmassage by repeatedly #cat / #cow ing (with a bit of #discocatthrown in!)... who needs a #massagechair when we have #partneryoga?! (although I do actually have one of those since a dear friend gave me his old one )

03.01.2022 Rosie the #crab! This girl really astounds me, especially physically. Wish I had her skills. She joins me for adult #yoga classes daily and perfects some of the poses I find challenging. I’ll be handing my #youngyogis business over to her soon enough, when retirement beckons

03.01.2022 #Anxiety in kids is real. These tips are amazing for big (adult) and little kids alike. I even do some of these for myself (been doing some art therapy lately). We all have an inner child that needs nurturing

02.01.2022 Just did my first live zoom #kidsyogaclass with one of my kinders and it worked really well, except that I forgot to record it. Doh! This is gonna be a steep learning curve, but one that I’m willing to embrace. All the feels... I almost cried when I saw them, I’ve really missed teaching them but then I felt total joy to see them joining in and loving it as the class got underway. Funnily enough the class was all about how we can use yoga and the breath to shift our emotions from sadness to happiness, negative to positive. They say that we always teach what we need to learn the most ourselves, and it’s certainly true! Namaste dear friends Take good care of yourselves. And know I’m here for a virtual hug or zoom (now I’ve finally figured it out!)

02.01.2022 Reach out to someone & be #kind today #kindnessconquersall #fightfearwithlove ‘There is no greater weapon, Claire, than kindness. A smile, a compliment, encouragement and compassion belong in the arsenal of every Time-Space Adventurer. Today, may you crush, kill and destroy the fears you encounter, in others and in yourself. ... Yes, please, thank you -‘ The Universe
