22.01.2022 If you are heading out for late night shopping or heading away for the holidays remember trees like to shed layers in the heat like we do. Make sure you don’t p...ark your car under trees when out shopping or when setting up camp. Remember, keep cool and stay hydrated. Let's #beattheheat together! For emergencies, call Triple Zero (000). For more tips on how to keep cool this #SAheatwave, visit our website. https://www.ses.sa.gov.au/site/heat.jsp See more

22.01.2022 As part of Operation High Impact we’re targeting motorists who are distracted behind the wheel. Driving is a complex task that requires you to use and coordin...ate a number of skills. Research shows that using a mobile phone while driving increases the risk of crashing by at least four times. Those who fail to answer the call to leave their mobiles alone will ring up a bill of $534 (plus the $60 Victims of Crime Levy) and acquire three demerit points.

20.01.2022 Over the last 24 hours SES volunteers have continued to support SA Country Fire Service crews at fires while also responding to over 150 tree down incidents acr...oss the state. 05.01.2022 Lest We Forget. At 11am on 11 November 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare. In the four years of th...e war, more than 330,000 Australians had served overseas and more than 60,000 killed. The social effects of these losses cast a long shadow over the post-war decades. Join us in one minutes silence at 11am as we remember those who have died or suffered for Australia’s cause in all wars and armed conflicts. See more
