23.01.2022 Your Health Griffith will be closed this Monday 5th October for the Labour Day Public Holiday and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 6th October. If you require urgent medical care, please present to the Emergency Department at Griffith Base Hospital or call 000 in an emergency. 14.01.2022 The ‘Tell it Well’ stories by the Murrumbidgee PHN aim to support people living the Murrumbidgee by letting them know they are not alone on their journey. The stories aim to inspire those people by offering practical tips to support their mental health and wellbeing and foster resilience. The COVID-19... global pandemic has meant a lot of changes for workers the world over, none more so than those in healthcare. As our CEO Keith Fletcher expresses in the story, our staff have rallied in such a commendable way, and their bravery in turning up to work, responding to the many changes, and doing their job in a really professional way has provided a pillar of strength for our community. 13.01.2022 NSW Health have requested that schools encourage anyone who is unwell or has even mild flu-like symptoms, to arrange to be tested for COVID-19. Symptoms include fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, loss of smell, loss of taste, shortness of breath, runny nose, joint pain, muscle pain, headache, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting and loss of appetite. Students and staff with flu-like symptoms will need to provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result before being permitted to return... to school. 06.01.2022 Your Health Griffith has now been working with the University of Wollongong (UOW) for 10 years and we have seen a large number of students go on to undertake further training in rural areas. Dr Marion Reeves, one of our GP’s and the UOW Regional Academic Leader, oversees the students on placement in the region, delivering a range of tutorials and clinical skills education to students.
