25.01.2022 As most of you already know, in May we lost our home, possessions and our pets in a fire. Everyday you think of something else that was in the house that is now... gone. I realised today something we lost was Christmas tree decorations. For the past 25 years just before Christmas I take my 3 kids shopping and each of them were allowed to pick something beautiful to put on the tree. This was a tradition we started and the idea behind it was each year our tree became more beautiful and eventually when my kids had families of their own, they could take all the decorations they selected over the years and put on their own Christmas trees. All the years of collecting our ornaments and now we have lost them. I know this probably sounds like such a small thing, but it's all these small things that have beautiful meanings behind them that make times like Christmas special. So I was thinking anyone that would like to can send us one of the decorations from your tree and then I will put up a photo of our new tree this year and all the ornaments that people have donated.
