24.01.2022 2021 Inter-regionals Expression of Interest: Hi all Goulburn tennis players and families, Great news! Tennis Victoria a couple of days ago has given us the all ...clear to start planning for the 65th Inter-regional Country Championships that will be going ahead at Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club from Friday 8 January to Sunday 10 January. If you would like to be considered for the Goulburn team and try to help make it 5 in a row for our great region, please send your name and age as of the 31st January 2021 in by next Sunday 15th November. Sorry about the short notice but there will not be a lot of time to get the team picked so you can sort accommodation etc. Once I have a list of players interested I will let you know a plan. I want to make sure the process is fair and that everyone who puts their hand up has a chance of selection. We will be taking the best available team to try regain the title again, So please get involved, spread the word and let's make sure we have a full team to take to Warrnambool in Jan 2021. Age groups are 18/u, 16/u, 14/u, 12/u, 25/u, Open, Over 35, & Over 50. 22.01.2022 A great time was had over at Shepp Lawn for our Orange Ball Challenge morning. Big thanks to all those at Shepp Lawn for hosting us. It was a great fun morning for all involved.

20.01.2022 Well done to the Goulburn regional team who finished in 5th place out of 12 at the Pat Cash Cup in Warrnambool this weekend. Big congratulations to Your Advantage students, Harry Crilly, Aaron Niglia and Nicola Brown on being selected and putting up some great performances.

17.01.2022 Your Advantage Tennis would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a great holidays for those that get a few days off. 2020 has been an interesting year to say the least but it hasn't stopped us growing tennis in numbers of students, assistant coaches and clubs that are now involved in our programs. Huge thanks to Mooroopna Lawn, Numurkah Lawn, Nathalia Lawn, McEwen Reserve Toolamba, Katandra West and Tallygroopna for all your support. Also a big thanks to assistant co...aches Nick Fenaughty, Robbie Mifka, Oscar Crilly, Nick Damianopolous, Harry Crilly and Harley McCarthy (as well as a couple of others who filled in) for all their hard work this year in making sure everyone who wanted to play tennis could get out on court. As always thanks to Wilson Tennis and Shepparton Sportspower for your continued support in such a challenging year. Cheers Mark In This Edition Important Dates Term Weeks and Fees Tournaments Cardio Tennis Tennis Gear Extreme Weather Policy Social Media IMPORTANT DATES: Term Started: 7th Oct NO TENNIS: Tues 5th Nov, Melbourne Cup ????: Monday 4th Nov, will ask people over next few weeks. Term Ends: 14th December (except Tuesday's which finish 17th Dec due to Melb Cup) Make Up Lessons: 16th - 21st Dec. If required. TERM 4: 10 Week Term. TOURNAMENTS: Numurkah Junior Tournament: 10th Nov. Entries to me on 0429 307 373 CARDIO TENNIS: Mum's cardio tennis each Friday morning, 9:30-10:30am @ St. Brendan's tennis courts Shepparton. If going to the gym or running isn't your thing but you still want a way to get some exercise in maybe Cardio Tennis is for you. Come along and give it a go. SPORTSPOWER SHEPPARTON: Revice 10% off all Wilson racquets at Sportspower in Shepp by mentioning you get coaching with Mark Mills. EXTREME WEATHER POLICY: On days that are over 37 degrees or wet weather causes lessons to be canceled you will be notified by text ASAP. Make up lessons will be available for lessons missed due to extreme weather.
