25.01.2022 APMA Welcomes new Chair of the APMA Board, Shaun Conroy. It is with great pleasure that I take the position of Chair of the Australian Pain Management Association’s Board of Directors. I look forward to making a contribution to APMA and bringing my 25+ years experience as a Chartered Accountant, Chief Operating Officer and Non-Executive Director. Over my career I have worked with a number of health related businesses, including consulting roles with a Phase-1 clinical trials... company, an electronic health records company and a medical devices company. It gives me immense pleasure and a sense of pride to continue the leadership established by David Winter. I’d like to take this opportunity to express deep appreciation to David for his efforts over the last three years. His contribution to APMA and desire to provide representation for Australians living with pain has been significant to this organisation. It’s an exciting time at APMA as we embark on new journeys to support Australians affected by pain. The wellbeing of our community continues to be a top priority. We want to hear from you - understand your issues, give you more ways to connect with us and provide you with meaningful resources. We look forward to representing Australians living with pain, their families, and carers by forging new partnerships in health, government, and policy sectors. We have an ambitious year ahead and have faith our Chief Executive Officer, Jessica Taylor and our wonderful team can achieve these goals. Jessica believes the voice of the consumer is critical in decision-making at all levels of service delivery and to ensure relevant and effective support is offered.
