11.01.2022 In Halloween fashion we want to talk about Zombies! The cocktail of course :) The Zombie cocktail is believed to have been created in the 1930s by Don the Beachcomber. With a tasty blend of juices and rum, it is sure to be a hit at your Halloween party! Recipe: 30mls light rum 30mls dark rum... 30mls orange curaçao liqueur 45mls orange juice 45mls passion fruit puree (or syrup) 15mls lemon juice 15mls lime juice 5mls grenadine 2 dashes Angostura bitters Optional: 15mls 151-proof dark rum Garnish: sprig mint Garnish: seasonal fruits Method: Pour all ingredients (minus the 151 rum) into a shaker. Shake Well. Strain into tall glass filled with ice. Optionally, float the high-proof rum on top of the drink by slowly pouring it over the back of a bar spoon. Garnish with a mint sprig and seasonal fruit.

04.01.2022 With just over a week until Christmas, it is time for Christmas inspired cocktails :) This spicy and sweet Grinch cocktail is perfect for a warm December day! Just like the Grinch, this cocktail starts off with a cold, bitter front but in the end, his heart is sweet. Ingredients: 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 2-4 finely chopped fresh mint leaves, plus more for serving... 60 ml vodka 30 ml lime juice 45 ml grapefruit juice 2 teaspoons honey 1-2 jalapeño slices ginger beer for topping Method: On a shallow plate, combine the sugar and finely chopped mint. Rim your glass in sugar, then fill with ice. Combine vodka, lime juice, grapefruit juice, honey, and jalapeños in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake hard. Strain over ice and top with ginger beer. Enjoy :)
