25.01.2022 Check out my latest video on GEDDA. Let me know if you have tried GEDDA at your workplace and what differences you've noticed

18.01.2022 I came across this neat video - thank you to my good friend Pelicans Vic. There is dadirri, yoga, meditation, read a book, go for a walk, or just lay in the sun. How about this one . . . . let rip for as long as you like in a pool of balls.

15.01.2022 Sam Dastyari questions Jacqui Lambie's Aboriginal Heritage When Aboriginality is "judged, evaluated and or assessed" by the values of a non-Aboriginal person, it gets in the way of the facts. It doesn’t work that way.... "Onlookers" don't get to decide or challenge a person’s identity especially when it comes down to a skin or eye colour, or other spurious characteristics made up by the "onlooker" Aboriginality is defined in three ways under various State & Territory Acts, Australia wide. 1. You must be of Aboriginal descent on either parent's side of your family tree 2. The local mob accept you as one of the mob and you actively participate in local Aboriginal events and activities 3. YOU self identify as Aboriginal Identifying as Aboriginal has responsibilities and obligations 1. Respecting and acknowledging your culture 2. Maintaining and protecting your culture 3. Living and breathing your culture Sam Dastyari is of Iranian descent. It is not for him to question the identity of a First Nation Australian. I’m not Iranian. I'm an "onlooker" when it comes to Sam's Ancestry. Likewise, it is not for me as an "onlooker" to question Sam's ancestry. Even if I were it would be disrespectful for me to challenge or question Sam's identify or ancestry without the facts at hand.

08.01.2022 Given my last post regards Dadirri. I thought i'd give people a reminder of what it is and where it comes from. Enjoy Anny Druett

04.01.2022 When I hear comments like Sam’s about Aboriginality it seems identity is judged by the values of a non-Aboriginal person. It doesn’t work that way. Onlookers don't get to decide or challenge a person ’s identity especially when it comes down to skin or eye colour. Aboriginality is defined in three ways under various State & Territory Acts Australia wide. 1. You must be of Aboriginal descent on either parent's side of your family tree ... 2. The local mob accept you as one of the mob and actively participate in local Aboriginal events and activities 3. YOU self identify as Aboriginal Identifying as Aboriginal has responsibilities and obligations 1. Respecting and acknowledging your culture 2. Maintaining and protecting your culture 3. Living and breathing your culture Sam Dastyari is of Iranian descent. It is not for him to question a first nation person of Australia. Likewise, it is not for me to question his ancestry either. I’m not Iranian. Even if I were it would be disrespectful for me to challenge or question his identify or ancestry without the facts at hand.

01.01.2022 Nod to yourself if you’ve seen some Aboriginal workers in situations where they have been pushed, pulled or stretched between their own mob’s values and their workplace values.

01.01.2022 Onlookers don't get decide your identity, you, our family and your mob do. Simple. Share with people you think oughta know and set the record straight.
